It is the perfect hotel for a 1 night stopover. Unfortunately the city does not offer tourist attractions to motivate spending a weekend or even 2 nights...

Unfortunately, the unpleasant surprise comes from the hotel restaurant which paradoxically has changed in bad in recent times, with the change of menu. The concept but especially the execution does not live up to the demands of fine dining "wanna be" and this fact brings a major disservice to the hotel which by definition is a transit hotel. People want a simple menu with traditional dishes which fortunately have the Alsatian gastronomic celebrity at hand...

Very nice design overall and well thought out. I found out that this used to be a jail where many Jews were imprisoned. While the leaning into the prison details nice design-wise, I'm not sure it's considerate. However, its functioning as a hotel overall is pretty impeccable from form to functions. While there's a surcharge for dogs, it's the only hotel we've been to that actually set up a nice little corner for our pup with bed/mat, bowls and a bag of treats. It's such nice little details.

Sauna and pool facilities are actually the public bath a few minutes by walk. While close in distance, we didn't feel that to be convenient. However, keep in mind that we're not originally from Germany or around and are not very well accustomed to the public bath culture in there.

The room and the building were very nice! Very comfortable bed. The room facilities were also good - with coffee machine, a mini bar, fridge, a bathtub, lovely shower, a proper hair dryer and robes.

We were on the ground floor and it was a little loud (noise from other rooms) but soon quietened when it got late. The electric blinds were a little intermittent!

Amazing design. Beautiful, comfortable and in my case extremely quiet rooms. Excellent kitchen and good breakfast. Breakfast service staff is top. Perfect location. Great place for business meetings too with a very nice meeting room and all the facilities one needs.

Nothing. What annoyed me a little is that I couldn’t reach anyone over the phone in 30 mins. Yes, there’s an announcement to leave a message or to write an email but that’s not what I wanted.

Knowing Offenburg very well I knew the Location. The Breakfast was plentiful and had a good selection.

I can’t fault anything. For me everything was perfect.

The staff was very nice and our room was spacious. The hotel's design held true to its historical roots.

The lighting in the bathroom and shower area was dim and difficult to turn off/on.

The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated with modern touches that ensured maximum comfort. The bed was incredibly comfortable What truly stood out, however, was the attentive and friendly staff.

The location is fantastic, the hotel room and the hotel in general are very stylish. Also when traveling with a dog, the location is perfect as there is a park around the corner. The perfectly made up baby bed was a very nice welcome.

The room service menu had only 4 limited items on it. When traveling with a baby, you want to have the option to stay in the comfort of the room when possible. Last year we had a very nice room service meal options, but this time the options were limited. The room service charge of €10 is a little excessive. What we ordered eventually was of nice quality.

Our third visit to Liberty hotel. Very comfortable room. Friendly staff and very good restaurant Wasser und Brot. Close to the city, walking distance. Convenient for e-cars: charging station, 2.

The hotel is beautifully restored and the interior design is exceptional. If you like modern contemporary design and great service this is it. There were great in room extras like a coffee machine and complimentary drinks in the minibar.

We booked room only as the breakfast was expensive 17 euros per person and were a family of four so seemed too much. We also ate in the restaurant one night which was a Michelin star restaurant but again although nice, not reflected in the price or choice on the menu especially as one person was vegan. There was use of the pool facilities at the pool nearby but we did not use it so cannot comment.
