We stayed in the suite which was outstanding. Loved how the suite was decorated, the rooms were a great size and it was spotlessly clean. The bathroom was beautifully decorated and a really good shower/bath. It has it's own restaurant and wine cellar (with a very extensive wine list!) and we had a delicious Cote De Boeuf, probably our favourite meal of our entire trip. The gentleman serving us gave us some great information about the local butcher who provides the beef and it felt like an experience rather than just a meal. It also has a cafe for the morning. The staff were very friendly and were always happy to help us. We only stayed here one night as a stopover, but we wish we had stayed longer. The location is also great, around 10 minutes from the train station, which is a 45 minute train journey from Triberg in the Black Forest.

I really liked the vibe and design of this hotel. The staff and service is super! I appreciate them taking the time to advise me despite being very busy (the Gengenbach tip was perfect!). The room was nice and spacious. The hotel has a cafe where they serve breakfast and lunch, as well as a restaurant (and a bar in the weekend). The food and drinks options are great. Everything is within walking distance. I was pleased with the price-quality ratio, especially compared to the overcrowded city of Strasbourg (around Christmas time).

The cafe is really busy, I felt slightly uncomfortable taking up space. Whereas I would've liked another tea for example, I would now instead just go to my room to make space. They do reserve tables for hotel guests. The restaurant most of the time was fully booked. Note that it is next to the train tracks. Personally I did not care at all, I experienced it as a train schedule-based massage bed!

The front reception gentleman was very pleasant and helpful . Truly was a shining example of courtesy and kindness . One of the best welcomes we have received in hundreds of stays on our many bicycle voyages through Europe . Good inside secure bike storage in a garage . Immediately on the shopping , walking and eating square . 600m. to train station . Room large with comfortable bed and good storage closet. Breakfast was individually prepared and was very good .

The hotel is quite “Campy” , our room had an “Elvis” theme but the hallways are very dark and poorly lit . The stairs were narrow, steep and a bit treacherous due to different step heights . Room had two windows with adequate daytime light but at night the available lighting was inadequate and 2 of the available bulbs were not working. Within 30 meters of the walking area with people passing through most of the day and night and 300 meters from the train tracks and if noise sensitive this could have been a problem with the windows open . Bathroom was quite large and clean but with no door - only a curtain and there was little space to lay out any toiletries .

Breakfast is incredible, as in stop by here for a meal even if you're not staying here.

Little uncertain about the check-in procedure, I learned very late that you're supposed to call ahead if you're expecting late check in. Didn't really clarify but they should definitely just implement a lock-box system for people who are arriving late on weekdays if they haven't already.

It was a really large and comfortable room. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom was great. They were very accommodating when I got up early for breakfast.

Prices for a room are getting so expensive. Offenburg was really a very nice town, but I would never prioritize it because I didn't know it. This time j was passing through for business, but otherwise I would never consider offenburg for a weekend getaway...unless I could find an affordable place.

A delightful, character - full place in the middle of the town. Offenburg itself was a lovely town and the hotel fitted in well. The room was big, comfortable, quirky and had a lovely aspect with trees outside and the (quite noisy!) Trains line! The staff that I met were very friendly and helpful and the cafe directly below was fantastic.

For the money, it would have been nice to have a bit more in the room, such as a kettle, a TV or even a glass for drinking water. It was noisy because of the trains - I loved that but not everyone would. No curtains or shutters meant all the light came in very early. Breakfast was available but again, for the money, could have been included. Some information on the town, some maps or walking routes, would be helpful as the tourist information was closed the whole time I was there.

Excellent breakfast can be had downstairs from the café's menu. Good coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. There is also a restaurant, but it's open only Fridays-Sundays.

There's a light fixture just above the sink in the barhroom which you can easily bump into and break with your head. Other than that, it was all absolutely fine.

The room was nicely decorated and had a very modern feel. The bar downstairs served great cocktails and the beer garden was lovely. It was great that there was also a coffee shop downstairs. It was conveniently located and the room was clean and cared for.

There were no curtains or blinds on the windows which made sleeping past 6am near impossible. This is really not something I've ever encountered at an accomodation.

Fantastic experience and very friendly staff.

Parking not available. Need to park in nearby park house. This could be communicated beforehand and or a map on the site. But it’s not bad, one minute walk.
