Rather clean room, late reception efficient and foreseen by the host something we came to appreciate very much as we arrived quite late due to delay of our train, close to 11.30 pm. Breakfast excellent, room service very good, bed rather comfortable and clean. Rather close to the Deutsche Alpen Verein facility of Offenburg!! If you don't want to miss a training session or the casual time of fun bouldering, this is the right place to stay. Don't forget your climbing shoes.

The room needs some improvement, the shower is indeed very small, and a bit dangerous for elder people. The room had an improvised stool covering some pipes for hot water that in fact became a small obstacle during the night, especially if the lights are off. The room was a non-smoking room and in fact it had no traces of having been used by a smoker, unfortunately the windows could not be left open during the night as some locals stand outside just under the room where an automatic vending machine is located for a casual conversation and a occasional cigarette. Maybe just bad luck.

This is a great hotel for a few nights in Offenburg. They have nice rooms with bathroom, comfortable beds and a very satisfying breakfast for 7,50€ per person (April 2024). There was plenty of parking places around the hotel and the staff was nice and helpful. If you need to check-in late it's possible thanks to the box outside, you just need to contact them and get a code. We had booked 2 rooms and the key to the other was in the first room.

Size of the room and on the ground floor which was extremely convenient

Not the property fault but some of their patrons parking was selfish. Example, taking two parking places for one car. Blocking my entry to my car as the car was parked too close. But thankfully that was resolved as when I departed at 6am there was no issue.

Outstanding bathroom facilities, a delightful breakfast, and exceptionally warm and welcoming staff and host. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend this place and would be gladly stay there again when travelling in the region.

Dog friendly, spacious room. Set in a residential area it was very quiet and peaceful.

Didn’t know until day of travel that the restaurant wasn’t open that day. We were looking forward to eating there after a day driving. There was a really nice inn serving food just a 10 minute walk away. Breakfast was fine.

Great value for money. Fabulous breakfast. Nice big, well-appointed room with a powerful shower. Lovely food, well priced drinks, friendly staff. Good toiletries.

No coffee making facilities in bedrooms; 30 minute walk into town.

The room was spacious and it's location at the edge of town meant that it was quiet. The breakfast was excellent with a huge selection to choose from and the host was very accommodating. All up is was great value for money.

Nice Hotel in a beautiful quiet area. Dogs are more than welcome! Really nice balcony.

We book a double bed (queen or king size) and in step we have two single beds next to each other (quiet uncomfortable for a couple).

The property is nice, the room clean. The free parking in front of the hotel is a bonus. The location is not very near the centre, but still ok.

Maybe we expected a little more help from the staff (we asked about a train ride to Strassbourg and where to leave our car in Offenburg, but we got very vague answers).

We slept well. The bathroom was completely renovated. We got a nice parking space for our car. The staff was extremely friendly.

Unfortunately, the hotel restaurant was closed and also all nearby local restaurants were equally closed the day we came (a Monday at the end of the vacation period). As a last resort, we had to drive to McDonald's. There was a bit a funny smell from the canalization, also on the street; this seems to be a problem unrelated to the hotel itself.
