Amazing hotel. The location is great for visiting nearby cities and wonderful hikes. The room was relatively small but had everything we needed. The rooms have air-conditioning which is nice on hotter days. The bathroom was modern and clean. The room is provided with bathrobes and plenty towels, also to take with you to the pool and spa. The spa was amazing and not too crowded. It's the perfect activity on rainy days. The pool was rather cold as I think it's not a heated pool, luckily the whirlpool was hot and super comfortable. The breakfast was extensive, with some hot items, loads of cold cuts and cheese, yoghurt with fruits and toppings, fresh hot drinks, juices and even bubbles. The staff was lovely. They were happy to help in every way they could. Both in German and English.

The pillows were big but thin. We should have asked for extra/bigger pillows. The bedroom was quite small, so there wasn't enough space to lay out two suitcases. Luckily there was a spacious closet that fit all the contents plus the suitcases.

Absolutely everything. They know what they are doing and they are doing it very well. The facilities, rooms and restaurants are veey clean. The spa is special and comfortable The food is delicious and you one can also order or go to the restaurant next door - in case he wants something simpler Breakfast is delicious and have enough food also for vegetarian And the place is located in the middle of a small road in Durbach, which by feet is around a short walk from a castle and some shops. Will definitely recommend to anyone who search for a few comfortable,relaxing days

The only critic i might have,is to please separate the hummus in breakfast (which is Vegan) from the meat area,it is a turn off..

Breakfast was superb. Great variety, nicely presented and friendly staff that couldn't have been more helpful. The fruit was fresh and replaced frequently, hot food was fresh and other clients made sure to recover the food after serving. The room was spacious, clean and had everything we required (other than an iron, which would have been handy). A great variety of alcohol available at the bar, with a cosy environment to enjoy the space. The spa was a big win, clean, multiple different environments to relax in and well maintained. I would highly recommend this hotel, and will without a doubt be back.

Kids in the pool. The pool itself is perfect as is the surrounding spa. The only downside was kids practicing their "water bombs" in the pool whilst clients are trying to relax! Now this at no fault of the hotel or the staff, just inconsiderate parenting.

We had a great time at the Hotel. It is such a wonderful property and is so well kept that it pampers your aesthetic sense. Hotel is located right in the middle of the village with mountains all around. Nice, quiet, very pleasing. Staff were all too cool. They were helpful and were super caring. Mr Kolowski at reception was no less angel when he managed us fruits, breads and butter in the middle of the night when everything had closed down. I'll always remain grateful to him for feeding my family at that hour.

Nothing! I loved everything about the hotel. They have plenty of parking and since I was driving, I cant tell if you can reach there by any other means.

Room was spacious. Different areas of the building creating spaces. Good facilities in the room. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing so much to choose from. Whole area well maintained. It was so good we stayed an extra night because of the quality here in relation to the cost per night.

General bar menu could have offered more choice as we could get a table in the restaurant. Unable to book a spa treatment for any of the 4 days we were here.

There is a nice picture showing the nice terrace with a stunning view in the photo gallery of the hotel, but it does not belong to the hotel! Why hotel should use that picture!! Remained as a question for us and not happy with that! We wish we had hot water, tea and coffee in the room, it is expected from 4 star hotel!

We had a beautiful stay. First of all Durbach is a great holiday destination with lots of hikes and restaurants easily reachable from the hotel. The hotel has great facilities - we particularly loved the big spa area and rooftop sauna and terrace. The breakfast was one of the best I had in a while with lots of high quality regional products and specials like fresh waffles. The staff was very friendly and helpful and contributed to a great stay.

It's not our first time in this hotel and we always enjoy our stay. Good location, friendly and attentive staff, excellent and rich breakfast, wonderful spa-area.

Unfortunately, this time water in the swimming pool was not proper enough. May be this was due to the long week-end... (1-4 May 2025). There were a lot of hair in the water.

Extensive spa area distributed in different locations within the large house, giving the experience a private feel. Lot of shared chill areas to be explored. Very good location at the main road with parking directly at the hotel without additional cost.

The room interior feels a little bit outdated. The breakfast room was very crowded and chaotic, as external guests can also book.
