We were at Bad Sackingen for a cousin wedding and Ringhotel Goldener was perfect place for us to stay. It is centrally located with everything nearby including railway station, shops, restaurants etc. For me the best part of staying here was the location - on the banks for Rhine overlooking the bruck. The location is absolutely fantastic! The staff at hotel was so nice and welcoming, it was great. The rooms are nice and the breakfast is fine as well. Overall it was a memorable stay here for us ! Rooms a bit small (quite normal for Europe). The weather was very hot when we travelled and smaller rooms made it even hotter. While hotel provided the rotating fan, it was still very hot for the stay. Its not a fault of hotel but just something for them to think for future hot days !

I appreciate that when the mirror light was broken in the room we were assigned, we were offered several different rooms to choose from, one that was an upgrade with a view to the Rhein River (though the room was smaller). I love that we can get excellent coffee from the machine most hours of the day, though one time it wasn't working and said it was available "tomorrow" (and it was). Staff super friendly, breakfasts FANTASTIC, and staff at breakfasts also very accommodating and friendly.

I thought it was weird that coffee was offered in our room the first day and then it is their policy to NOT refresh it. I asked specifically about that and that confirmed they do not offer in-room coffee after the first day. I was able to go downstairs to the machine and bring coffee up to my room but that defeats the purpose of coffee in your room since then I felt I had to get dressed before going out. I would have liked to have had one cup of coffee every day. It seems a small amenity at this price point. The hotel was rather expensive.

Excelent location, view, city, staff, breakfast. Good parking, EV charging was the cherry on top, saved me a pit-stop the next day.

The restaurant told us to come back in an hour to eat, though it was not full, but maybe they were understaffed. I think they could’ve let us have a drink and order a bit later, or explain it will take longer for the food, instead of telling us to come back later or go across the street. Not a big deal, but something to think about

Nice place, nice view, clean, all good.

The room 202 is directly adjacent to the terrace. People drinking bears are practically on your balcony. This is just not right - you buy the room with the river view and have to stay behind the courtains. There should be at least some kind of optical isolation or something. Anyway - don't take 202. We had two rooms and nr 206 was already OK.

Location is right in the center of the old town, next to the river and wooden bridge. Staff was very helpful and friendly, taking care of all of our needs. Hotel facilities and breakfast were very nice.

Being in the center of the pedestrian, old town zone, there is no parking right at the hotel that we were told about. The nearest paid lot is about 4 blocks away and costs roughly $5.00 per night.

The hotel is very well situated overlooking the Rhine from the back and a pretty square from the front. Our room had a lovely view of the Rhine and the old wooden bridge that connects Germany to Switzerland. Breakfast was very good and there was a pleasant outdoor eating area.

It was very hot when we visited and the heat made sleeping uncomfortable.

Its location next to the river, looking into Switzerland, is pretty cool.

There is limited parking space next to the hotel (located in the pedestrian zone) and we had to park in a public parking approximately 8-min walk away. We had a family room that was located on top floor without A/C which made the night pretty unbearable.

The room was small but super clean, and comfortable. The location and the view was amazing. It is a very pretty hotel

No air-conditioning in the room. The shower was leaking to the rest of the bathroom even with the door completely closed.

Very friendly staff, from check-in to breakfast representative, every one was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good with fresh fruit, yoghurt, cheese and cold cut. Great location, in the city center, all you have to do is step outside and do your sight seeing.

no kettle . This is common is germany . before arriving I had the impression that the reception was not manned but this was not the case. no luggage storage facilities - there are lockers at the train station
