We arrived later than expected, and the owner graciously let us in after check-in hours. She was incredibly kind and attentive throughout our visit. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the peaceful surroundings added to the charm. She even made us coffee in the morning, which was such a thoughtful touch.

The only minor downside was the lack of air conditioning, but overall, it was a lovely experience.

Great beers and food in the garden restaurant. Value for money excellent with very large portions, no need to go anywhere else for dinner. Very helpful in reception despite our lack of German and their lack of English. Changed my room to one with less steps due to my disability without me asking - excellent. 2nd video to the Alte post and would return any time we were in South West Germany.

The hotel is situated just next to the Rhein river and they have beer garden on the river bench, also they have car park, fantastic Greek kitchen and great German beer It was our 2nd stay I this hotel and for sure not last one. Close to the hotel you have a shopping centre just in case you want to get something. Really recommend place to stay

Comfortable bed, great position on the river, lovely restaurant and wonderful food. Mostly very friendly staff who are keen to help

One woman working there was very unhelpful and negative on our arrival. (We needed unusual help due to circumstances). Other members of staff stepped in to help us and looked after us very well. Such a shame our first impressions were tainted.

Housekeeper was very kind to let us in when we arrived slightly after the check in time. Great location for exploring the Black Forest and Switzerland. Lovely view of the Rhine river. Good parking. The 3 bed room was very pleasant and spacious.

Great hotel. Very big room. Nice shower. Excellent secure bicycle storage (if you’re travelling by bike). Lovely terrace on the river where they serve food and drinks. Great restaurant on-site serving delicious food.

Perfect place for a short or long holidays, border Switzerland- Germany so by walking you can visit both countries, they have own car park , very tasty and big portions meals , very nice beer at the bar

A kettle with small caps for tea and coffee in the room is missing. With this little staff our stay in this hotel would be perfect 😊

The hotel is a little dated but the staff who are very kind and the restaurant with the terrace compensates for everything. Terrace on the banks of the Rhine with delicious dishes and good beer! What more could you want?

The view to the river was great and the hotel is located in a very calm place.

It would be fantastic if the hotel's equipment could be upgraded. Although everything was clean, the equipment was somewhat outdated.

Excellent location overlooking the Rhine. Very helpful staff who responded very quickly to a query I had about my stay once I had returned home.

Was told the restaurant was closed when checking in which was slightly annoying because having somewhere to eat on the premises is my main criteria when booking accommodation .
