The hotel has a unique charm that my family and I enjoyed. The location was great for walking around the lake and into town. The breakfast was very enjoyable and had many options. Our bed was very comfortable and the pull out sofa was a nice size. It comfortably fit our family of 5. We also enjoyed the sauna and large bathroom with a tub.

When we arrived there was someone’s discarded food in our trash can. I rarely saw anyone at the front desk so I couldn’t get it taken care of within the first day of staying.

A beautiful hotel in a beautiful location.

Everiting was as we like, lovely and comfortable room with a parshal lake view for us and our dogs, on a first floor, yes hotel is pet friendly! Dogs also enjoyed beautiful backyard, running on a perfectly cuted grass, smelling the roses! 😊 The fact that hotel Terase is direkt on the water made every breakfast even more pleasant with light breez, morning sun, and swans and ducks floating around, just beautiful and relaxing peace for our coffee time! That was also the reason we choosed this hotel for a second time! 😉

Breakfast was poor and lame.Should be better in such hotel.Arriving after 8 30 plates were almost empty

Lovely location. Beautiful views of the Bodensee and Alps once I changed my room from the 2nd to 3rd floor. Good breakfast. I found the WIFI is good on the ground floor but weak on the higher floors.

A swimming pool would have been nice given the price of the hotel. The Bodensee was cold even in August.

The location and the interior

The bed was not at all comfortable. There could have been better options for breakfast. Chicken or Turkey was not available .

Everything was very nice, the style of the castle and of the rooms is very nicely done. We traveled with our 4 year old, she felt like a princess. There was even a small beach, where we could go to the water and swim a little. The water was high, so we did not need a swim shoes. Just a few steps from the ferry, which will take you to Lindau in 20min.

I love the terrace for all the meals right at the edge of the lake. The food is exquisite and available at all hours. The view out of my windows enchanting. This was my third or fourth time coming back.

The place at the lake with easy chairs could be more accessible and kept in better order. The streets around the hotel were being ripped up and hard to get around on.

Nicely furnished hotel in a historic building, in a beautiful setting on a small peninsula. A pleasant place for walks along the coast, and just a short distance from the hotel is a pier from where you can get anywhere on the lake by boat. And breakfast on the terrace overlooking the lake was the best start to the day we could have wished for.
