The location is great, it's right on the lake and very close to the train station. Only a 5-10 min walk into city centre. The dining hall was nice and spacious and the rooms were big. The beds were perfectly fine and everyone gets a locker. There is a toilet then a shower and toilet on each level which doesn't seem like enough but was perfectly fine. The breakfast was filling enough and 7 euros (paid with cash).

The letters on the beds weren't obvious so it was hard to find the correct bed to sleep in. There wasn't a bath mat outside of the showers so the bathrooms were sometimes wet.

Friendly staff, nice open balcony (connecting the two parts of the building) to enjoy a morning sandwich with a nice view to a big green tree in front and the railway station nearby. The trains move *incredibly* quietly at night, you can barely hear them unless you look specifically (in case you fear noises from the nearby station). The shared bath was clean and perfectly fine (see pics). The house is just a minute away from the Bodensee and about 7-8 minutes walk from the center (because you have to walk *around* the railway station - the location looks deceptively close to the center otherwise).

The 2-floor wooden beds swing a bit when you climb on top, which made my friends somewhat nervous at first. They're perfectly stable though. We had no problems during the night.

Like : People at the Hostel are just Amazing ! A real good Germans, thank you for their hospitality and their kindness. The location is top Dislike : I cleaned my sole and put it on the window, and a bird come and stole it to build a nest with lollllllll Everything was perfect kept going

Location of the hotel is convenient regarding the facilities around the place. The place around the hotel was safe and all the Island were designed according to child needs. All my needs were met in a timely manner. Of course, affordable fees is great point to be there.

Noises of the floor, which is generated from wooden floor, can be prevented by covering the surface with insulating material. However, this situation did not bother me much.

The location and comfort was great.

I had higher expectations about the abitity of the staff to communicate in English and also to know better about how many nights I was staying for/paid for. Also I had asked a couple of times whether a tower was provided, got no reply. It was provided:)

Good location, just a short walk away from the old town. Rooms were comfortable and clean, the common areas would need some renovation.

Checkin is stated from 2 pm. We arrived shortly after 2 pm and were not able to check in until after 3 pm, as the reception was closed. I received a message that I can pick up the keys to the room from the front of the door but there were no keys. Response times to messages could also be improved.

Very friendly staff, good communal lounge/diner and choice of breakfast. Good bike store. Liked having the use of the upstairs kettle, microwave and fridge.

Didn't know where to hand wash clothes or hang them to dry. Clear signs would be really helpful.

I came back to this lovely hostel where the nice people treating you with a big warm heart, and hoping that the bird who stole my sole bring me it back 😢

Everything was nice

- If you have ever traveled in south america or asia, you know this is clean. I think the people who wrote here its dirty etc. never stayed in a hostel just nice hotels? - clean, everythigs works, there is nice common area with wifi, self check-in, the owner is nice guy

- its expensive like all this area, 35euros for shared room i find too much.

Great chilled vibe and really friendly staff, close to the station. Nice spacious room with comfy bunks and a delicious bargain breakfast available in the lovely lounge. The lakeshore walk to the harbour is delightful and the old town is beautiful. A wonderful place to stay.
