The hotel is nicely located at the (car) entrance to the island of Lindau, a large public parking garage is nearby, where I could recharge my electric car. The room was tidy and clean, though not very cosy, but I guess that's a matter of taste, and there was too much to do about the island to spend much time inside anyway. We had a room on the third floor in the part of the building with no elevator. When travelling with folks who don't climb stairs so well anymore, make sure to check with the staff when booking the room. I found the beds were above-average comfortable. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice and fresh food, the staff very comforting and hospitable. All in all, the stay was a nice experience, I would not doubt recommending the place to family and friends.

A perfect place to stay to explore Lindau. Extremely welcoming staff and service overall. The window view was amazing although it was a bit too loud in the mornings. Here's the tip for the travellers: rent bikes and have a ride to Therme Lindao. They have free access to pool and warefront after 6pm.

Air conditioner would be very much our help since it was very hot in our room even with their window wide open and two fans on.

Great location, friendly staff with good level of English if required, nice spacious room . Well-stocked minibar with reasonable prices. No bar, which would put us off bring a group that likes to hang out together, but plenty of restaurants nearby offering a range of cuisines for dinner.

Street noise in the early morning. There are other rooms overlooking the courtyard which would be much quieter, and I guess you could request.

Everything! Family run small hotel. Friendly, welcoming. Great breakfast...continental style but also scrambled eggs. with crispy bacon!! Rooms smallish but compact. We overlooked the courtyard so it was very quiet. NO AC but a good little fan and we love sleeping with an open window anyway.

The beds were very comfortable and the location was great. The breakfast had numerous choices, all of which were delicious. The staff were so friendly, helpful and welcoming.

Two very minor things were that the curtains were not blockout curtains, so light did come through them. Not a big problem in winter where it’s still dark in the mornings, but could be problematic in summer. Another thing was noise from the room above us. We had a noisy family staying above us, where the kids were running around like crazy until late the night before and from very early in the morning. We could hear every step they took.

The welcome on arrival was 5* and we were given so much helpful information with charm and humour. Also excellent English. The breakfast was abundant and delicious, our room was enormous and we would highly recommend the hotel.

There was no AC. The fan helped in the heat but the room did get warm.

Lindau is a wonderful place and there are plenty of shops and cafes. There are also a number of places where you can take boat trips to on the Bodensee.

Unfortunately, the Hotel has no lift which necessitated carrying heavy cases up several flights of stairs. Not good at our age.

Very friendly staff, tries to help with every request and they recommended awesome places to visit, eat and drink. The single room was larger than I expected, room and bathroom super clean. Nice full regional breakfast included. The area around the hotel is quiet. Bike friendly.

Location is excellent Staff was really friendly and they gave as a small gift when we were leaving which we really liked. Breakfast was good

Room was ok but could do with some renovation, street where windows are looking is a bit noisy. There was a small water leak in the hallway of our room but staff was quick to help. I hated the fact that there is no elevator to get to second floor, stairs are quite small and steep they are also circular which is really problematic if you have a big suitcase.

Fantastic location. Lindau Insel Station was a 5-7min walk. The hosts are extremely welcoming, They speak English and German which was very helpful for my husband who doesn't speak a lot of German. The room were huge! And they were warm. There's a restaurant in the next building. A few food shops within 2-3mins walk. Including Netto for cheap shopping.

Breakfast was decent, but I expected a bit more variety. The bacon and scrambled eggs get getting over very soon. And I found sausages only one day. Not much of a complain here, just that some more variety would've taken the experience that extra mile.
