Great cozy boutique hotel , with great spirit . A wonderful place to relax, to immerse yourself in an ancient atmosphere , which is kept in the hotel interior , mixed with the modern amenities . The owner (who I think we met) is very welcoming and friendly person , the girl on the reception was very polite and helpful as well and the girl at the breakfast was always kind and careful , she was making great breakfast ! Mentioning breakfast , it was great , with big variety of quality and delicious food . Overall great experience , very beautiful romantic and cozy hotel ! Going to be back soon !

The room was immaculately clean and nicely decorated. Very cosy, with an old-world charm to it. The character of the centuries-old building came through, but it still felt very comfortable and well kept. The location was both convenient and quiet. The beds were comfortable and we slept very well there. Breakfast was tasty, with good variety.

Lack of on-site bike storage was nearly a catastrophe, as the nearby secure lock-ups in the carpark (which the hotel usually sends guests to) were broken. There is a strict no-bikes policy in the hotel rooms, so we had nowhere to put our bikes (locking them outside was not an option as the bikes were valuable and we had no heavy locks). Our trip was only saved by the very helpful concierge who phoned around and secured us a spot in another hotel's bike lock-up facility. Thank you! Otherwise, our only complaint is the information tablet in each room, which cannot be switched off. We had to hide it in a drawer overnight to stop the light!

Location, history, great breakfast, comfortable bed, nice shower. Building.

No lounge area to chill and enjoy refreshments. No coffee / hot drinks in room. Our room was viewable from the neighbouring property so we had to keep the curtains closed… no privacy. Low ceiling. Unfortunately, the Adara is really no more than a basic B&B… nothing like other numerous “boutique hotels” that I have enjoyed.

I loved the small intimate atmosphere of the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and made me feel very welcome. Breakfast was delicious and the staff who worked in the breakfast area were excellent and made my stay all the more enjoyable. Luckily, l was able to borrow a Samsung phone charger off one of the ladies each morning which was a life saver!

The rooms need USB ports to make charging your phone easier. I do not travel with a power adaptor anymore and was surprised to find that a such a good hotel lacked adaptors for the guests to use especially when they do not have USB facilities.

The bed is incredibly comfortable and there is an amazing desk. The breakfast is vast and delightful. One of the best hotel I have ever been. Would gladly return.

It is hard to pick something but, if I have to be honest, the check in/out timing are a little restrictive ( even though it didn’t cause us any problem). Another negative point would be the coffee/tea machine in the bedroom completely missing. The real negatives: I would definitely improve quality of the coffee and the sweet pastry during breakfast. A taste of either can ruin the overall experience.

Situated in the Old Town the buildings are naturally old. This Hotel has been fully renovated to a modern standard, but still kept some quirkiness. Wooden ceilings, can be low, wooden floors, interesting furnishings...all very tasteful. I felt very comfortable. Breakfast was bvery nice buffet, and you can get mķorder. They even have little bottles of Prosecco.

If I really would be very picky and look for something to complain, the shower could have been a little bigger.

We stayed in the apartment over looking the lake which we absolutely loved. Extremely spacious with plenty of living space over 2 floors in addition to the bedroom and 2 bath/shower rooms! With 2 balconies/terrace areas this really was a superb spot to enjoy Lindau. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend the Adara , a true boutique hotel with quality and stylish design in abundance.

Sadly no air conditioning is available in the apartment but Dyson fans were on hand given the extremely hot weather conditions.

We have stayed all over the world and this very well may be the nicest experience we have ever had, the beds, the fixtures, the design, the location, the staff, the breakfast, the added touches were amazing!!!!! Best place we stayed while in Europe without a doubt and the only comfortable beds! Can't go wrong with this place! Amazing!

If I had to be picky, they went overboard with the electronics, the switches were tricky to figure out at first, how to control the lights but the heated bathroom floors made up for it!

Beautiful hotel, nice location, extremely clean. The rooms are very cozy and the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was nice too. We got a small bottle of wine from their South African hotel/vineyard when we left, which was a lovely gesture. We will definitely come back and recommend it to friends and family.

The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The room was beautiful! Breakfast was amazing! As a vegan I find breakfast the worst catered meal in general, but this was 10/10!

There was no shower, only a bath and you couldn’t stand and shower. The bath was also small, which was awkward for my husband who is a tall man. It was fine for one night. The restaurant didn’t offer any vegan options and smelled very strongly of fish, even though we sat outside.
