It's a very nice hotel, good parking on premises, excellent location in busy area with bars and restaurants etc.

No Facilities at all for food or drink.. Hotel was once obviously of a better standard. Seems a shame. Bad odour in bathroom, we rectified by clearing out shower drainage. Quite a lot of road noise.

Very well maintained family hotel, large rooms, confortable beds and armchairs, perfectly clean, large and spotlessly clean bathroom, two restaurants in the hotel (brasserie option, wine bar option), superb outdoor terrace for dinner, almost romantic, good overall decoration although very classical, nice welcoming staff, good breakfast, right in the center of the village (the main pedestrian shopping street starts in front of the hotel, free parking in the hotel (outdoor). The Hotel Manager on reception made us feel very welcome. She was particularly helpful and pleasant. The bed was very comfy.The room, bathroom and kitchen were spotless. If you are self catering there is a good supermarket 100 metres away. The breakfast was of a high standard and eggs were cooked to order. I would most definitely stay again. It was very good value. There was a lock up garage to store our bicycles safely overnight.

There was nothing not to like.

Decent stopping point when driving through Germany. Cloppenburg not too big or small. Parking good. Great place to sit out on a warm evening.

It's not the gourmet place suggested on the site. It's changed hands since then. Food average, wine below average. Beer choice not good.

Breakfast was very good. The upgraded room very spacy and good.

Rough start when nobody was to meet us although agreed on the phone that we arrive within one hour. Phonenumber did not answear either. Finally found staff and got the room (first was not cleaned). Upgraded so all ended well. But being tired after travelling for many days, it was a bit long waiting before we finally got a room (about 1 hour all-in-all).

Nice large room. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast.

Bathroom is small and cramped. If you are mobility challenged you could have problems into the shower and getting out of it. The base is high and there are no grab rails. Check this when booking. Parking is limited and we just got the last space.

We were only in town for the night, and did not have breakfast. Nothing to complain about with the room. We arrived with bikes, and was able to store them in a locked garage, which was great for us.

Great location right in town. We had a family apartment. Super spacious and comfortable, more than we needed for a one night stay. Would recommend.

Restaurant was closed on Sunday, however table in a very good nearby restaurant was arranged for us

Perfect room. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great. Staff were very friendly.

There is nothing we did not like. If anything, a minor detail, a coffee machine in the room would have been great.
