Amazing! The entrance with lounge gives off a leisurely holiday feeling. I booked a cheaper attic room during a hot spell and the temperature was still tolerable. Spacious with good lighting options, storage space, sockets and a TV with many (German) channels, even Disney TV. The bathroom may be a bit tricky to get into if you're a few sizes larger, because of the way the door opens. The mini bar in the room and vending machine in the lounge were well stocked. Especially the vending machine had surprisingly low prices. Next to the reception is a coffee/tea corner free to use! The affiliated Italian restaurant was cosy with decent quality food and wine. There's very little in the direct vicinity (supermarkets are limited in choice and 15 min away on foot) so these were lifesavers. Next door is a large public swimming pool with slide. There's a bus stop which takes you to the central station in 10 minutes, or into the town centre if you stay on. The windows are not sound proofed; the entire area is dead quiet at night. We did get unlucky with drunken people hanging out in front of the hotel at 1 am, shouting and hammering on things. I could hear them too well on the 5th floor. Once they were gone it was completely silent again until morning.

All three different pillows provided were down pillows. I know, I know...it's actually a luxury and just personal preference, but I can't sleep on these.

A basic hotel quite close to the city centre. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good basic. The lounge area in the lobby with coffee making facilities was a great plus for the hotel. The hotel also arranged a parking space for us in advance for a small fee.

When we arrived at the room, the air was a bit stale. Opening the window provided a good change of air. In addition, there was a 5cm drop/threshold to the room that we almost tripped over when we got to the room.

Friendliest staff. From check-in to check-out, proficient, and totally friendly. I was even shown to my room and short introduction to the facility. This is supposed to be a 3-star hotel!!! I felt like in was in a 5 Star hotel. The room was clean, and the bathroom was spotless. Full toiletries. Everything operational and clean. Parking was very convenient and reserved area.

Can't think of any. Maybe location may not be too convenient without a car.

The owners implemented so many helpful little details - there was a coffee & tea station in the lobby for people to make their own beverages. They had a selection of charging cables to borrow in case you forgot yours. There was a little library of donated books and some spare reading glasses! Just really thoughtful little things. Enjoyed my stay!

I would like to sincerely thank your hotel for the warm welcome and thoughtful help! We checked in the afternoon of 19 June 2023, Ms. Brigitta, Darabos warmly welcomed us. As we are an old couple over 70 years and with a lot of luggage, she kindly told us that she would give us a free upgraded bigger room No 418，and she also immediately offered her kind help for our luggage until our room. She helped us also to check the bus information for the old city and Veste Coburg. Her high quality of excellent customer-oriented service greatly helped us and deeply touched us. Our sincere thanks also go to Ms. Sandra Franz from the afternoon and evening shift. She has also tried her best to make our stay in your hotel happy and comfortable, giving us also different information about restaurants and shops. We are extremely happy to make the best choice of your hotel for our stay in Coburg! Both of them helped also for our camera fogotten in the hotel. The hotel is really the best of the Best Western hotels that we experienced!

The location is quiet and easy to access by car. Parking is available onsite. Breakfast was good and had everything you would want. The staff were perlite and happy to help if you needed something. It's always nice to come across people like this in Germany, with so many people working in hospitality here, and they have no idea what the word means.

Quiet location with plenty of parking. Helpful staff. Additional water supplied due to hot weather. Excellent breakfast. Room had plenty of sockets in just the right places, large desk, large comfortable bed, Practical complementary pack (comb, sewing kit, emery board). All little extras that make a difference.

Very friendly staff. Nice cozy breakfast. Quite good location of the hotel near to historic city. Parking spot just Infront of the hotel.

Public Road construction works around the facility were noisy and creating a hard time arriving to the hotel.

Breakfast good selection. Staff were very helpful with storing motorcycle luggage after checking out. Quite location even with roadworks happening outside. Plenty of parking.
