From the moment we arrived, we knew this was a place we’d want to return to again and again. The owner, Iris, has created an exquisite atmosphere that radiates warmth and hospitality. We felt genuinely welcomed—not just as guests, but as cherished visitors. My partner, our dog, and I were all made to feel completely at home. The house itself is like something out of a fairytale—nestled close to the river, with dreamy surroundings that invite you to slow down and soak it all in. And the breakfast? Absolutely out of this world. Every bite was a delight, clearly prepared with care and love. Having parking included with the room was a fantastic bonus, making everything so easy and stress-free. Iris’s attention to detail and genuine kindness made our stay unforgettable. We’re already counting down the days until we can come back. Thank you, Iris, for such a beautiful experience!

Great location, clean and comfortable room, delicious rich breakfast, and a very friendly host. We stayed here for 2 nights with the family and really enjoyed our stay. The location is great, the guesthouse has a lovely courtyard, and the breakfast was excellent and very rich. The room was clean and comfortable, and the host was very friendly.

Amazing breakfast with a large variety of delicacies prepared by the owner. Good bus service to the centre of Dresden so no need to drive to see the centre.

At the time of our stay, construction work was underway on a nearby house, so the noise of a drill could be heard from the morning. This is not the fault of the owners and unfortunately there was nothing they could have done at the time. Hopefully the neighbours will have the external insulation finished soon.

The stay was amazing! The building is old and has its own charm and history. But at the same time, the apartment was clean and cozy. The apartment is located in a quiet area, but not too far from the city center. Perfect if you want to escape from the city noise. The host was very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were very tasty with enough options. The parking was free. As a bonus, we had a chance to play with Belle - a super-friendly and lovely dog. The weather was cold during our stay so we didn't benefit from the terrace and garden but going to enjoy it next time.

Excellent abundant breakfast, cosy and clean room, really nice host. A few kilometres from the Pilnitz chatteau. Close to the bus station.

The room was a little noisy - cars from the street (even if a country road) + bathroom (refilling the flush tank + ventilation). A little uncomfy yet bearable, ear plugs were aivailable.

It was a lovely, cosy, traditional house, well preserved and decorated with a beautiful garden.. The owler Iris paid attention to all detail. The breakfast was exceptional.

The breakfast was excellent. With advance notice she provided excellent gluten free options for our family. House smoked pork loin and cheeses were a nice touch.

Everything is great, but Frau Dunger's friendliness and incredible service is something you won't find in a 5-star hotel. The room is spacious, comfortable and clean. The location was perfect for what we had planned by car, 15min from downtown Dresden, 30min from Sächsische Schweiz, 1h30 from Prague. The highlight is breakfast, with a variety of delicious things (scrambled eggs, bacon, fresh fruit salad, variety of cold cuts and breads), all well prepared and with love down to the last detail by Frau Dunger. It's an amazing breakfast experience in a very cozy atmosphere. I recommend it to everyone.

The window curtain could be a little darker but that becomes irrelevant next to the quality of all the other things the stay offers.

Breakfast is super good. The Owner is super nice. Nearby the river, good place for hiking/walking.

No supermarket in the near.

I really liked how cured the house is and the homemade breakfast. The area is incredibly beautiful and the bed is really comfortable. We had an amazing view on the courtyard. There is a bus stop nearby and we didn't have any problem even if we were without a car.
