The hotel is a bit away from city center, but it’s well-connected via trams, making it easy to get around. The accommodations were comfortable, everything was clean, and the overall appearance was well-maintained. However, our experience with the front desk staff was disappointing. When we arrived on Saturday morning, the receptionist was one of the most unpleasant and unhelpful people I’ve ever encountered. She seemed to have no interest in being there and made us feel unwelcome. Since it wasn’t check-in time yet, we left our bags and returned later, only to encounter another receptionist with an equally unprofessional attitude; and staring look. That being said, not all staff hate life. The lady working at night around 2 AM and the blond gentleman in the morning were both friendly and welcoming, which was a refreshing contrast. My husband works in the hospitality industry, and I travel frequently, so I know what to expect from hotel service. The management should reconsider who they place at the reception, as these interactions set the tone for a guest’s entire stay.

We had a family room. It was really spacious with a double bed, a sofa and a single additional bed for our 6 year old girl, who was excited ☺️. The bathroom was big and clean. We were surprised to find all the beds made by the staff when we came back in the evening the second day. The tram stop is very close to the hotel. It takes you 15-20 min to get to the zoo and about 30 min to get to the city centre. There is a parking near the hotel.

Parking should be paid additionally (8 EUR per night)

Being European breakfast, It was expected The room was very clean, with high expectations and will book room 405 again when I come over with my partner Location was ok but was safe for my van to be placed and thank you the staff for me to park my van outside due to high value of goods inside

Could not find mini bar and also been charged for something I have not taken, I only used the water

It was clean and comfortable. The room was a decent size and the bathroom had everything you needed. There was also a small balcony, a minibar and desk but no kettle, which would have been more useful. The car park was full so we had to leave the car in the road a couple of hundred years away. All in all it was a good hotel but it is not a 4 star hotel as it is a bit worn. The location is ok if you have a car and can drive into the centre, however there is no free parking in town ( as you would expect) and public transport is not terribly cheap. Too far to realistically walk and when we went it rained all day so was not an option.

We’ve been traveling for over a week, staying in a different city each night, and this hotel in Dresden is by far the best place of the trip. The rooms are truly comfortable and fully equipped. The free street parking near the hotel and the 24-hour reception were very convenient. Thank you, you’re amazing :)

The breakfast was delicious and a perfect start to the day. Great choice of healthy breakfast, too.

One of the receptionist seemed to be quite annoyed when we asked for drinks in the lobby bar. In a 4* hotel it is not what you expect. So, a bit more guest-friendly approach would be appreciated.

Amazing stuff at the reception. I don’t know the name of the night manager but he was cool and made evrth possible to organise our staying on the top level. 10stars for him. Very clean. Maybe it’s not new, old -fashioned but cosy and comfortable. Still water. Tea kettle. New soft Towels. Bed perfect.

Good breakfast. Good bikes for rental. Very easy to bike from hotel to Dresden downtown, a beautiful trip along the Elbe. Both me and my daughter loved it. Greetings Gerard en Anneli

Nothing really, shops are nearby. I would not make long walks in the hotel neighbourhood, just because Dresden downtown and its parks are the place to be.

its clean and had a big room, bed was a bit too soft

the location is a bit outside of the city center. about 30minutes by train to the centre. but the train is going directly to the city center and station is 200 meters from the hotel. still, the area around the hotel is not that fancy (mainly industrial)

In general, I recommend the hotel to everyone. The room was very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was quite spacious. The hotel's restaurant and bar are a good alternative for you. The tram, fifty meters away from the hotel, provides great convenience in transportation. Apart from these, the beds should be a little more comfortable.
