The hotel was lovely, very clean and had character. It is near to a tram stop offering frequent services to the centre. Our room came equipped with a small kitchen which was useful for making drinks and using the fridge (there is a small cleaning charge if you want to actually cook in it). Excellent breakfast. Other reviews complain about the noise and the hotel is situated on a corner with passing trams and traffic. However, despite having a room to the front of the building and keeping our windows open at night, we did not find it intrusive. Also, some reviews comment on the heat. By keeping the main curtains drawn and windows open , we did not find it overly hot. We are not used to a/c at home though and can appreciate that others may be uncomfortable.

There are limited food options in walking distance of the hotel. There is a restaurant under separate ownership/management within the hotel property. We used it twice. The first time for drinks only which was fine. As a result we decided to dine there that evening, It took over an hour for our food to arrive and required us to ask where it was. The main courses arrived before the starter (which we declined), My meal of chicken gyros was overpriced for what it was and had little chicken and a poor salad. No apologies were given for the delays, I would not recommend

Small property, with good access to transportation. Staff available to help you in case of any doubt. A little old structure, but comparable to other hotels with the same ratings. A very positive point refers to the restaurante Estancia - an outstanding meat restaurant - that is 1 minute walk from hotel.

The front desk is not available 24 hours a day (it was not the only hotel I saw this in Germany), but the staff was able to arrange to assure everything was ok at my arrival.

A very nice and spacious room in a converted villa, with high ceilings and a stove, very nicely furnished. There was a small kitchenette in the hallway. Private parking on the premises with electric car charging. I didn't get to try the breakfast. However, there is a private steak restaurant in the building. The steak was fantastic and reminded me of the steaks at LaBrigada restaurant in Buenos Aires.

With a larger car, parking is a "little" more difficult due to limited space.

Delightful, characteristic Dresden hotel away from the noise and crowds of the tourist areas, a short tram ride from the old restored city centre and within reach of the attractive outer zones along the River Elbe and Neustadt. Friendly , helpful, welcoming staff. An excellent hotel to stay at for a break in Dresden.

Lovely, comfortable and quiet old hotel in a beautiful part of the city, well appointed and with friendly staff. Breakfast was fine and the restaurant on the premises is excellent (don't be put off by the Steak House tag). As a hotel, as good as it gets, for a reasonable price.

Nothing. It's not dead in the centre, but has good public transport connections. I didn't find a bar in the close vicinity, but that's not the hotel's fault of course.

I have stayed in this hotel on several occasion and have always been welcomed by great staff, there is a good selection for breakfast and the rooms are cleaned to a good standard, there is easy tram access into the town

I would prefer a double bed over the single I was given, but no real complaints from my stay there

The family room suite fits four comfortably and includes a very convenient kitchenette. The small kitchenette was perfect for small meals and snacks, such as breakfast and making sandwiches. We did not use it for cooking so I can't review the cook top. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. There are multiple train options available within a few minutes walk of the hotel.

No fault of the hotel, but it is located on a busier street. So if you stay in summer time and need to sleep with the windows open you may want to pack ear plugs to ensure a good nights sleep. Breakfast was really expensive.

Very nice hostess, lovely house.

The room was not very serviceable for us. The electric outlet by the beds did not work, and my husband required a CPAP. The signage by the telephone states there is a night staff available to help, however I felt terrible when I found I had woken the hostess at home calling at bed time for help in accessing an extension chord.

comfortable good size room. there is a very good restaurant in part of the same building. Not part of the Hotel. Cafes near by. Easy Tram stop.

Very noisy from the Traffic well into the early morning with the windows open. No air con so as it was hot outside we needed the windows open. We had a 3rd floor room which was very warm. if you use the kitchenette cupboard there is an extra cleaning charge of €15. The hotel makes a point of saying ‘Pet Friendly’ although pets are not allowed in the dining room for breakfast.

Very nice hotel in a late 19th cent-style building, room comfortable and supplied with all conveniences needed incl. a kitchenette hidden in closet. Parking place for a fee at the premises of the hotel. Excellent breakfast, partly a la carte, partly buffet style. The hotel is located at what seems to be a busy street crossing, but it is well sound-proofed. Trams for city center stop near the hotel and go often.
