The hotel is located in a really beautiful area, close to the Elbe. The rooms are well furnished, the beds very comfy, and the staff extremely nice and helpful. The family room was gorgeous. I expected a kind of two-room apartment, but in fact it's like a second floor in the same room, which you reach on wooden stairs. Really neat idea. I loved that. My kids loved it, too. The buffet breakfast was tasty and reasonably rich in options. I especially liked the idea of having the coffee made in advance, waiting for us in a pretty flask on the table. I was immediately attracted by the design of the flask. I didn't know at the time that it was actually a famous design by Ole Palsby - I found this out incidentally two days later, when I saw the same kind of flask in a design museum in Copenhagen. This was a really nice touch. Currently the main road in front of the hotel is completely blocked due to the construction of a tram line, which means that the hotel is temporarily not accessible by car. But under normal circumstances there are a few parking spots available for guests in the back yard. I also loved the restaurant. Great food, great service.

I would have liked to have a bit more light in the bathroom. Also, during breakfast, it would be great if the milk jug were refilled when it got empty. That's all I can think of.

This is my second stay here!! Comfortable and nice setting with the green area out back. The beds are quite comfortable and the room is modern and equipped. Hotel staff friendly and helpful;)

If you want dinner here you must ensure you get there before a certain time, or closes rather early. We arrived minutes after they closed the kitchen but the waiter was so nice that he offered us some snacks as we were famished from the day. Construction around the hotel made the arrival a bit tricky but that will be finished soon and vertically isn’t their fault-but be sure to check their website for proper directions since the GPS will mislead you.

I booked via Booking.com. there was no mention that we had to take a completely separate route, could not park on premises and had to traverse a temporary footpath for a couple hundred meters due to construction. We arrived quite a bit late because of this and were told the kitchen was closed (online advertised as 22:00) and the bar (online close at 23:00) and beergarden was closed up by 21:15. we made a mad dash to Rewe to get some food for our 6 kids traveling with us. This would be a wonderful location without the access issue.

The hotel was really nice and clean, friendly stuff and great breakfast where you have unlimeted access to food. The hotel also has its own restaurant unfortunately we didn't have an opportunity to try it out. Property has a great view to Dresden countryside, very close to the river Elbe. It's quiet and calm place for a comfortable stay. My subjective opinion is this place is more than a 3 star hotel.

The hotel is situated on the outskirts of the city which makes staying idyllic and surrounded by nature.

My room was with window into the courtyard so when other guests were outside talking (waiting for the rest of their party) every single word is being heard. If you stay, book a room with anything other than courtyard view.

Nice and cozy hotel, very clean and comfortable. We stayed just one night but we liked it a lot. Tram station near by and LIDL across the street.

It is a bit far from Dresden Altstadt, 20 min by tram.

Very pleasant and clean place. The garden and playground for children are a huge advantage. The beer garden and the proximity of the Elbe River are additional advantages.

Small, but comfortable and cosy rooftop room. Nice location outside the city, green park nearby, big beergarten and restaurant on the first floor. Has parking lot for cars and tram station is near.

Location, cleaness

Noisy roadworks in front of the hotel since months. Difficult to be reached by car.
