Breakfast was great. The cherry on top was that it was noticed by the Manager (don't remember her name unfortunately) that we had a small celebration, as it was our 9th Wedding anniversary. She was so lovely, she brought candles, a few extra sweets and a bottle of bubbles. It was a lovely gesture and made it very memorable. 11/10 stars for the attentive ness and special touch! ;-) The reception team was also very accommodation with last mintue request (Booking for breakfast and getting the sauna switch on at 8 am in the morning). Therefore our sincere gratitude to Mr Steven(?) Schmidt. ;-)

The Hotel team should invest a couple of thousand euros for decent equipment in the small fitness studio. 2 out of 3 pieces of equipment aren't working properly and should be disposed off. The entire Hotel is definitely worth 4* and the Hotel staff even 5*, but you are letting yourself down on the equipment. Try it yourself and see if you would be satisfied with it.

Parkhotel Gorlitz is (as the name suggests) nicely located between the river and the Stadtpark, so it is in a very quiet environment. From the city center it is a short walk of about 20-30 minutes. The rooms were very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was large and comfortable. Wifi worked well and without problems. There is a water cooker and coffee/tea available in the room, which is always appreciated. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered a wide choice and was of good quality. The restaurant has enough space, so even with lots of people it did not feel crowded. There is a small gym with a few trainers (which we used) and a sauna (which we did not use). For parking you can use the garage (for a fee) or park quite near in the street (which we did). In all very recommendable.

There was not really anything not to like.

As always, this hotel is clean, comfortable, and safe. Offers paid parking in the garage, you can bring your dog along for a fee. Staff is professional, the location is quiet. Wifi good.

When I arrived I was informed the restaurant is closed due to works. Wish this was shared before I arrived. After 13 hours of driving (and passing by numerous places to eat along the way) I was tired and ready to eat.

Loved that the hotel is dog friendly, parking friendly and near nature. The rooms are very comfortable - beds are great size, great beddings, mattress - all of it. The furniture is of good quality, soft fabrics. Really enjoyed the room coffee machine too The smart TV is great touch to watch Netflix/YouTube etc. It felt like a lovely comforting home away from home.

Some miscommunication between reception and cleaning left us wait for check in until 4:15pm. We took a walk for 1.5 hours around the town although after driving for 9 hours, I just wanted to relax on a sofa. But the beautiful room made up for the error. And we got a lovely chocolates and small bottle too, which was very kind!

Hotel is nice may be the best in Gorlitz,Location is near to Poland border next to the river,walkable.to the city center,but u need some.vehicle if you are coming by train.

Toilet was not cleaned well.even after informing reception.Complementary water was kept in the room,but not refilled.

I loved the location of the hotel. Near the State Park, walking distance of the Old City and Polish border. We definitely took advantage of the location and crossed the border into Poland. Absolutely as beautiful as the German side. The room felt super luxurious. Nice warm colors such as orange and brown. The room has a large closet, mini fridge, sofa, and a very large bathroom. Not to mention the view was incredible! Super green, surrounded by nature. The staff was another highlight in our stay. Everyone was attentive, pleasant and helpful. They really embody service with a smile. They have a free of charge sauna and exercise room. Definitely recommend the sauna. You would just need to speak to the front desk to schedule a visiting time as it is reserved for one room (guests) at a time. Would absolutely stay here again should we be in Görlitz again. Such a beautiful city with a wonderful Parkhotel.

Our room was on the fourth floor and the wifi was shotty. We kept losing connection and having to reconnect. It was tolerable considering the hotel was providing so many positive feelings that having on and off wifi was acceptable.

There was nothing that could have been betters

We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel is modern , everything is very well maintained, Great value for money, delicious breakfast, welcoming staff.

There was a strange incident around 5 am. We didn't lock the door inside with a chain and 2 men entered the room. I was awake and said in English...what are doing here?...they left....was it just a mistake? I do not know. I was surprised that it was possible to ope the door with different card. My fault I haven't locked with the chain from inside.
