This was a wonderful location for my first, and I hope not last, visit to Goerlitz, which along with Zgorzelec, the neighbouring town in Poland, is a place I have wanted to visit for many years. The staff were very warm, welcoming and helpful when I arrived. The room was suitably spacious for a single person, and the bed was very comfortable. As I was rushing for a train, just up the road, I only had time for a quick couple of very fresh bread rolls with ham and cheese, and a fine coffee, for breakfast. But it all looked very fine. This is a fine city to visit, and this is a fine place to stay.

We were able to check in even after the reception closed. The hotel has a safe with keys in front of the entrance. After booking, be sure to write or call the hotel to receive the password for the safe. The room was large and clean, the view from the window was beautiful. The room has glasses, towels, toilet paper, TV. Comfortable. The bed is good. Breakfast until 10 am. When we arrived later and had already put food in, the administrator came to us and said that breakfast was no longer available. Unfortunately, she did not speak English. Therefore, we went to the reception to hand over the keys to the room, as we were already evicted. But the guy at the reception said that everything is fine and we can go to have breakfast. For breakfast, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, yogurt, cheese, ham, juice, coffee, buns, yogurt, muesli.

Breakfast till only 10 o’clock.

The building is old and that's why the room was small but clean and the bed was comfortable. Outside the weather was really cold but the heating of the room was excellent. There is plenty of choice during the breakfast. boiled eggs, different kind of cheese, meat, yoghurt, fruits etc.

There is a place to store your luggage but it is too small. It will be better if the space is bigger.

They were very accommodating. We arrived early and they let us check in since the room is available anyway. The room has a great size and even has a couch. It was also well lit since the sun hits the room perfectly in the morning. It is affordable too. For it’s price, it was totally worth it. If we come back, we would love to stay here again. Breakfast is great as well.

Nothing special, just a good area to stay for one or two nights. We noticed that the floor was leaking some water, even though we were on the first floor. We stayed one-night cause we visited the place for a job we should done.

Friendly staff, not bad buffet breakfast, free public parking near the accommodation, fully equipped room and bathroom. We were unable to go on the dates we booked. The hotel management kindly allowed us to change the dates free of charge.

It is necessary to replace the pillows - they are very uncomfortable. TV channels are in German only.

Great Hotel!

Our colleagues are travelling for business and have stayed in this hotel several times. We have requested many times for the invoices via email but for some reason they do not reply.

Very nice calm hotel with great breakfast. We were on the top floor, there is no elevator. Can be problem for old/disabled people, as the stairs are really high. For us it was ok. 20 min by walking from the center, 10 min walking from the train station.

friendly and competent staff, comfortable room, good valut for money. Easy and pleasant 10-15 minutě walk to the city centre.

I liked everything, but… the young many at the reception told me that parking in the Bahnhof-Strasse near the hotel is OK and free. I arrived in the afternoon, parked my car, spent the night in the hotel, and next morning went to the town. I returned back to the car just after midday, around 12.30, and found that I have been fined for 25 E for parking out of correct hours)

The hotel location was good. Not far from train station, and old town. The stuff was a very friendly person. Breakfast was good.

Nothing. Everything was fine.
