Lovely hotel in a great location. Very friendly staff who went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable. Great breakfast. Very comfy beds - best sleep I’ve had in a hotel in ages!

Only slight issue was that the room must have been previously occupied by smokers. We kept the window open and it was fine after a day.

Our room was super large with plenty of natural light and good curtains for privacy. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The shower was the best I've had for a long time - hot with excellent water pressure. Bathroom was huge and modern. We had a lift which was old (the building is an old style building) but entirely functional. Great position centrally located in the old town. We walked from the train station with our cases which was an easy downhill walk. We had planned to get a taxi but it was Sunday afternoon and the town was pretty quiet so we decided to walk instead. Staff were lovely and helpful. Our room had large windows looking out into the town square with the taxi rank and bus stop just across the road. The town is gorgeous and there was loads of things to do.

We usually like to have a cup of tea and need a little fridge for milk but that wasn't in the room. Otherwise, it was perfect and we would definitely choose to stay there again.

Akzent Hotel looks a very impressive old building from the outside and its location is ideal, a few minutes walk to the main train station and close to all the historical sights. Having experienced a few initial minor problems in my room, the wonderful Denise in reception acted immediately and had them sorted very quickly and without any great invonvenience to me. Breakfast in the lovely front room of the building offers a huge choice of delicious hot and cold food. As with reception, the staff here are top class and are constantly on hand to help out with anything you might require.

In the middle of a mini heatwave, the room was quite small and could have benifitted from a good air-conditioning system.

It’s located right in the center, next to the well-known Kaufhaus, so everything is super convenient. The interior has a unique style and character—it’s beautifully designed and feels special. Our room was very comfortable, the beds were cozy, and everything was spotlessly clean. The staff were also incredibly friendly.

No drink making facilities in room, courtyard rooms could be noisy - although for not for us.

Very good breakfast - a little pricey but a nice selection of good food. Served between 6.30 and 10.00 so good for early and late risers.

Pretty much faultless. A safe in the room would be an improvement.
