Excellent location, right in the heart of Günzburg Old Town, steps away from all the restaurants and shops, while still being just a 10-minute walk from the train station and the bus station to Legoland. Absolutely wonderful staff, always smiling and helpful. Charming bits and bobs of decor which hint at the age and history of the building.

Some rooms are probably better than others, but the one we stayed in was very basic and looked like it was last refurbished some time in the 80s. The downside of the location is being woken up at 6 AM by the clock tower, the church bells, and the garbage truck. The windows do a pretty good job of insulating the noise, but you can't really close them in the summer, since there's no AC. Not really a problem for me, as I like to get up early anyway, and my daughter had no problem sleeping through all the noise, as she's a heavy sleeper.

Perfect location, in the middle of old town. Rustic, but nice, big rooms, adapted for travel with children. Good breakfast in a nice area. Available free parking, even in the middle of the town. 10 min walking to central station to take the shuttle to Legoland, avoiding car travel.

Booking.com cancel policy As the old boy was 18 years old, booking.com didn't allow us to reserve only a family room, which in fact was perfectly suitable for our needs, as we constated there (children room beds were ok for adults too). Due to booking.com cancel policy we were not able to adapt to the real situation and we were forced to keep the reservation and pay one extra room,

Our stay at this hotel was lovely! The staff was very kind and helpful. The location is perfect, right in the center of the city center (which is beautiful) and a 10 minute walk to the train station. Our room had a view on the square which was very nice! Breakfast was included and was very good, there were a lot of choices even late in the morning. The bed was slightly too soft for us but that's only a matter of preference, and might depend on the room. The room was great and had good equipments, free wifi and a tv, the bathroom was very big and clean.

The only reason I'm not giving a ten is because the soundproofing was not ideal, early in the morning we could hear very well the people having breakfast and it woke us up every morning. Other than that, everything was great!

Location is superb, you couldn’t get more central, right in the pedestrianised zone. However you can drive up to hotel to unload and hotel also let me store my motorcycle in a secure shed which was great. I had a single room, perfect for my needs, spotlessly clean. The staff are so welcoming and helpful, relaxed. There are cold drinks available to take (and pay for when you leave) in communal fridge which is really nice after a long hot day of travel. The price I paid for one night as very reasonable, very good value. Bed comfy. Breakfast was included and was good also.

We had such a wonderful stay! The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. We were amazed at how clean and well-kept the room was. The location is perfect, surrounded by charming little restaurants and beautiful terraces — such a delight! Breakfast offered a great variety of choices, making it a lovely start to the day. We recommend this place highly enough!

Fantastic little hotel - clean and comfortable rooms, very good breakfast, nice location in the middle of Günzburg's old town, with good restaurants a few steps away. Going to Legoland? Don't look for other places. Special thanks and greetings to the lovely reception desk lady who patiently guided us over the phone while we were struggling getting to the hotel through the city's closed streets on the day of a local fest

The room was great and clean. The breakfast offered a lot of options. But, on top of all that, i would like to extend a big THANK YOU to the amazing staff of the hotel: professional, friendly, kind, attentive and super helpful. We will for sure revisit them.

We enjoyed our stay at Hirsch ! Everything was great ! Excellent location: in the middle of the old town, close to the fountain , to the restaurants and close to Legoland (in a few minutes we reached to the shuttle bus for Legoland)! We appreciated the staff: the nicest ladies we ever meet, they help us a lot , with our luggage, with late check in .... Thank you !

The staff at this hotel are super friendly and welcoming. This is our second visit here to stay whilst vising Legoland Deutschland, the location is both perfect for the park and central to the town which is great for grabbing a quick meal after a long day at Legoland. The breakfast has a wide range on offer.

Although breakfast selection is small, but it is more than enough to find what you are looking for. Room was big enough and the location is so perfect! Also parking was available!

A fridge in the room would be perfect :)
