The hotel’s design, both inside and out, is stunning. The room was spotless and beautifully styled. The atmosphere throughout the property felt relaxing and welcoming. Breakfast was outstanding—and the restaurant served truly unforgettable flavors.

• Water overflowed from the toilet when flushed, and also during showering. Additionally, the trash bin in the toilet was broken and couldn’t be opened. • Although the sauna was scheduled to open at 9:00, no staff were present to prepare or fix the room, making it unusable. We attempted to contact the staff but received no response. After waiting until 10:00, with no assistance provided, we had no choice but to leave and check out at 11:00. • The check-in process involved filling out too many forms, which felt a bit overwhelming. It would be much more convenient if we could complete everything online beforehand and simply receive the key upon arrival.

We loved our stay, clean, lovely location, good facilities, great breakfast, nice staff!

Only a couple of small things, maybe an information sheet in the room stating opening times for breakfast, dinner, bar, spa area, would be helpful, we didn’t see this, so guessed, apart from remembering from check in! Secondly, just would be nice if the drinks were replaced each day to use as we were there for 6 days, so more coffee pods & teabags etc, once used within a few days, they were not replaced.

Fabulous hotel.very stunning place and beautiful views right on the river.the staff are really nice and value for money.the bar prices are good and 1am closing was great for us. The standard was high and very clean. Breakfast was really good with a good selection.

We have spent 2.5 weeks motorcycle touring scandinavia and like to visit local bars and sample local beers but it isn't very close to town. That being said, we would be very picky & unfair if we said this was a problem. we could of used public transport, as we have in the other 5 countries we have visited.

Great staff, very friendly and accommodating to our needs. View of the river Elbe from the large windows in the room. Great to watch the ships go by. One window is even equipped with a mosquito net so you can leave it open at dusk/night (not so common in Germany from what I can tell). Very clean and well maintained facilities. Nice location on the terrace to have lunch/ dinner or have a drink in the evening at the bar. Didn't try the spa, but hope to stay here again and will try it the next time.

Great and very friendly service when we had lunch, unfortunately the Flammkuchen got cold by the time it got to us from the kitchen in the adjacent building.

Beautiful setting. Wonderfully quiet. We enjoyed the sitting bench in front of the window to sit, relax, and take in the scenery of the Elbe. Appreciated the window screen to keep bugs out of the room when the window was open. The room was very clean!

We ate in the restaurant, and our meals (Spargel) were tasty but not extraordinary enough to justify the prices. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel because the cost was too expensive. We were unable to use the ferry due to limited operating times. It was disappointing that I had to call the restaurant to ask if room service was still available; the receptionist made no offer to call the restaurant.

The hotel and the facilities are truly a treasure that we honestly did not expect. The building itself is renovated in a modern touch, keeping old elements like walls in a rural style. The room is spacious, with a lot of glass and clean furniture, mosquito nets at the windows and decently dark curtains. The rest of the hotel is as nice as its style: the spa has a whopping 3 different saunas, steam bath, a big calm area to relax - the spa itself is actually worth just coming back. Apart from that, the bar and the couches there are super comfy, the bar tender very friendly and nice. And then the buffet....again, almost a reason to come back because of that. The buffet is big, tasty, full of healthy and less healthy things.

There is little to complain. We were on the second floor and there seemed to be a bar or terrasse of some sort of that played music during late evening times. so you could hear that when going to bed. but thats it from negative side..

The hotel was modern, immaculately clean and beautifully situated. It was such a peaceful and relaxing stay with nice facilities and breakfast was healthy and good qualify, service and staff were very accommodating and friendly. I had a comfort room overlooking the river and it was so lovely to see the birds and the landscape.

The hotel's internet is a bit heavy and we could not connect to our room from our registered name. They gave us a code from the reception but it had to be changed every day. For such a facility, the internet problem is unbecoming.

Beautiful surroundings and hotel, great staff and the restaurant food was actually very good (we were worried about the google maps reviews)

The spa only has saunas, no jacuzzi or pool, and the chillout area is big and was super busy, so it did not feel inviting to sit with naked people in a circle. Maybe just not our vibe 😅 The bed was extra hard so we didn't sleep so good.

The room view was amazing, Breakfast 5 starts, friendly stuff.

-The sound of the toilet ventilation is a nightmare it’s extremely strong. -There is no air condition in the room so the only ventilation is the windows that must be open. -The bed covers is very thick for summer time, we found sleep well because the room was very hot. -the location of the hotel is faraway from any kind of supermarkets so if forgot your toothbrush you can’t buy one oops.
