+ Lovely spot as a base for many hiking trails around the area, whether directly from the door or within 15-20mins drive. + Breakfast offered a lot of variety with fruits, cereals, cold meats and scrambled eggs...not to mention waffles as well :) + Room was quite spacious and the balcony was a blessing in the afternoon/evening after a long day hiking to relax. + Plenty of parking spots with the amount of guests staying at the property, whether directly outside or along the street.

+ Although no staff are on-site for the check-in process, where we experienced an issue with the card and gaining access to our room at 10-11pm at night, we called the service number and the lady was lovely to resolve the issue for us ASAP. Their seemed to be a technical issue due to internet connectivity but with a bit of a "walk through" over the phone, no worries :)

Very clean, staff very helpful, a large room with a small hall. We fit in with two baby cots feeling no retrains. We had a parking spot, the place was quiet, we also had a balcony. Self check-in was very easy and user friendly, staff informed us per WhatsApp about all the necessary steps. A very good experience and really good value for money.

Breakfast was really poor in variety. I wouldn't really recommend to take breakfast. There is enough space to have breakfast in the room or on the balcony

When we travel through Europe, my husband and I, we always appreciate being able to check-in on our own because we usually arrive very late at night. Check-in was very easy to do, its very intuitive. Also the refreshment fridge where we could buy Bionade when we arrived was very nice. Breakfast was excellent and the balcony overlooking the mountains was a bonus.

Perhaps the only inconvenience I find is that our room was on the highway side and as early as 6:30 there were trucks drive by.

Check in / out process was easy and well thought out. We used the spa, which was very clean and comfortable (love the chairs). Breakfast was wonderful - fresh food, good selection, very friendly and attentive starr.

Room 0001: The room was very small - not a big deal and not really surprising considering the cost. The part I did not care for was the bathroom door, which barely opened since the heater is right there. Perhaps some creative thinking could improve the situation.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Our favourite parts were the fast self check-in, breakfast (good food and ambience) and the comfortable bed. We did not use the gym or sauna, but they looked quite new. We came to visit the Ravennaschlucht Weihnachtsmarkt and it was in good proximity.

However, the cleanliness in our room could be improved. Once we entered the room we found dead flies on the floor.

We came for the Christmas market at Ravenna Gorge; great location! Easy access into downtown Hinterzarten. Excellent communication regarding self check-in, facility access.

While breakfast was quite good, the limited staff was challenged to keep up with demand at busy times. Parking at the facility was relatively limited, though street parking nearby was reasonably accessible.

Everything was perfect. Online registration, key card effortlessly done in a minute.. Lovey touch with a sauna , after the long day of driving. Excellent breakfast, with very attentive lady in the breakfast area. Comfortable bed. Spacious bathroom, nice view from the balcony.

Nothing really. Everything was good.

Checkin process was easy, contact with Stuub was smooth. Provided dog bowls and treats for us too. Breakfast was very good too, and there’s great access for walking and biking. Nice gym. Super good value for money.

Bathroom / shower was a bit strange, as was the overall decor.

Room was clean, well appointed and comfortable. It had a balcony with great views. The hotel had nice garden areas.

At night you must close windows or insects get in even with the curtains closed.
