Friendly personnel, the room was well equipped and felt like above the price level of what I paid.

Outside my room (nr 24) was a constant hum of machinery. It didn't bother me, but if you need silence to sleep it might be a problem.

Shower sink little clogged.. Very noisy room, i heard my neighbour calling a friend and could even perfectly understand what was said.. The towells were hidden behind the door, i couldn't find them in the evening i wanted to shower..

Beautiful building - helpful and friendly staff - perfect location for the Wenning Wieter Gaststätte next door where we were working. Outside the property was a lovely Christmas display and market stalls, very festive!

No dogs allowed anywhere in the building which was very inconvenient (and strange for a rural hotel) - 20€ per room extra charge for a late checkout (12:00, not really that late in my opinion and it seemed expensive considering the already expensive room prices).

The rooms have a lot of space an have a nice bathroom.

The Restaurant diner and breakfast is very bad. The lunch Coffee is made by concentrate and eggs were blue . The water for tea was cold. The diner Indian hahnenbrust was made with warm melon and other warm fruits. The curry was not spicy and tasteless. Dessert was a simple ice bowl with liqueur with a double espresso from the worse kind of concentrate man can buy. After this experience we went out for breakfast and lunch.

I love the building but it is not what it used to be, the life has been taken out of it.

the bedroom had gnats biting us during the night and trying to get out of the mesh window covers. breakfast was a sombre affair, staff were not about at 7:30 when we were told we could eat. the buffet was not available. we were eventually given a tray of various foods, not of our choice however adequate. a pity there is no joy here now.

The location is great if you’re a local. They looked down on us. They wouldn’t extend the rental, even if they had an empty business. Bought a bottle of pink wine marked at €15, but the manager charged me €26. I believe they didn’t like the fact that a gay couple were staying in their hotel. My husband is Jewish and that may have played a role. If you want to feel discriminated, this is a place you can have that
