Self service fine . (Items not available sometimes if at breakfast later). Continental as expected but eggs fried and sausages available. Plus lots of other things like waffles. Lovely Rolls. Fridge in room nice and cold.

Balcony plastic chairs . Deluxe room but no bath as specified in list. Didn't really matter to us but ! No tea / coffee making facilities in room. Could do with extra pillow each ( only one available and they are quite squidgy in Germany. ) Always take my own.

Very nice place, completely remodeled, nice floors, new bathrooms and a nice bar. People are very friendly and helpful, good service. Restaurant menue is short, simple dishes, but the noodles with mushrooms were delicious. Good breakfast without overdone extras, definitely worth the money. All in all a nice place with a very good price performance ratio. Clear recommondation.

The area is worlds end after 8pm, no nightlife in Idar Oberstein. So it would be good to avoid trouble with the TV set.

Friendly staff. They set up a special birthday breakfast table for my husband with cake and candles. Very kind!

Our e-car didnt charge properly during the night so we had a minor challenge in the morning.
