Beautiful location with fantastic views over the valley and lake. Lovely place to relax. Good breakfast. Great walking from the hotel, following clearly marked routes. Half an hour drive to Lake Constance. Good children's play area.

Thin pillows - they were very quick to bring us some alternatives when we asked but the new ones were really hard! Glass doors on the bathroom?!?! Never a good idea when travelling with family and would be the main thing putting me off coming back. Bring bug spray.

Scenic hilltop location with expansive views of the Bodensee and surrounding lush areas. Hotel is efficient and comfortable, with an outstanding restaurant catering to all your needs. Very kid friendly with lively family atmosphere that made us at home (traveled with teens). Breakfast and dinner at the hotel were outstanding with the owner passing buy to check on everything and share a laugh with guests. Lovely local products for sale in the lobby store.

The location is all off on its own. If you're looking for convenience to other locations you should look elsewhere. If you want a nice break on your trip to enjoy scenery and genuine local food and produce, this is a great stop.

The staff were super service minded and food was great Breakfast was outstanding and the chef was genuine German in a positive way. 😁 We arrived after kitchen was closed but we still could get our Schnitzel and burgers. In the morning we left early so the kids got the breakfast to go in bags. We could freely pick the breakfast which were very nice. I unfortunatly forgot my earpods in bed but the hotel called some hours later and told me they had found them and directly send them home to my house in Sweden! We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they upgraded us to a better room for free. The food was amazing also. We booked one of the two gondolas there for a nice romantic dinner, which turned out to be a beautiful special experience. The breakfast-buffet was also very rich.

Great stay, enjoyed every bit. Location is great for us (20min by car to Bodensee two great towns) very picturesque on the way, also many points of attraction / hiking options nearby.

Family suites (two rooms) have no view (opposite building’s hall), so no privacy / view. Keep this in mind when booking. So we switched to double room, which was fine as our child is <2 yo. Otherwise perfect stay.

It’s clean Because the rooms are made with a lot of wood, they have a special climate and it’s very comfortable to sleep

Since we were there the last time 8 years ago, it feels like the staff in kitchen changed and the quality went down a bit

if there was one single thing to mention it would be the kitchen ventilation. The entire restaurant smelled pretty awful of food and oil. That was bad. But... maybe th ventilation was broken...!

very big rooms and very clean. Sauna is small but enough. Good breakfast and nice quiet location. The waiters are very kind and even brought dinner in the room.

sauna closes at 19:00.

The location, the owners who are always in sight, and the staff were wonderful. The breakfast was fantastic and worth mentioning. For the trecking lovers this is a paradise.

The older couple of the Family (me) got a room in the attic, with stairs and a very compact bathroom. Not the best choice for elders. The young couples enjoyed more modern and spacious rooms.

It is close to the exhibition hall for 30 minutes by car, warm and friendly, good service, rich and good quality dinner
