Nothing sophisticated but such a sweet little hotel! Nice, chill vibe, super friendly staff, large clean rooms, calm breezy atmosphere. Amazing breakfast buffet! One of the best I’ve had. Very close to Mainau Island, you can rent a bike at the hotel and just ride there. Easy access to Konstanz via public transport. Absolutely great value for money.

No AC but there was a fan in the room so we were happy. The spiral driveway to the parking lot is quite narrow - seems to fit only one car at a time, so it was a bit worrying (for me at least) since I couldn’t see if anyone’s coming the other way.

We really liked everything but the most impressive part was the amazing restaurant!! We stayed for 3 nights and had dinner every night in the restaurant. Really good quality, big portions and it really looked good on your plate too! Simply amazing! Breakfast was also very nice and fresh with enough options to choose from! So yummy! Our hotel room had a really good size. We travelled with our 11-year old daughter and she had a very comfortabel sofabed. There was also a hangmat chair in the room which she really loved. The shower was amazing and was a really nice walk-in shower. So you could easily shower together. The location of the hotel is in our perspective ideal. Easy access within walking distance to the water of the Bodensee. The hotel has their own garage which was very convenient too. And the hotel gave us free tickets to use public transportation. I would recommend this hotel and we will definitely come back! My compiments to the staff and the owners!

No airconditioning but a fan was provided which was ok, but still a bit warm on hot days during the night.

Rooms were comfortable and clean. Wifi connection was good and each room included a TV. Lounge was nice with a good selection of drinks and beers. There is also a small indoors playground for the children. Location is close to a very nice beach which we enjoyed.

There is no air-conditioning in the rooms, you get a fan which does the job to be honest. Pillows for sleeping were huge and I couldn't use them. A lot of things incur additional charge and are not included in the price: breakfast - arranged separately, but a bit pricey parking - 10 euros per day small refrigerator - 3 euros I feel like the parking should be included in the price, and fridge provided for free on request. Both are small charges that just feel weird.

We got a very clean and comfortable room. The room had a small swing and the bed had a lot of pillows. The TV was well connected to internet that could play YouTube or Netflix on it. There is free coffee and water available in the room. They offer really good breakfast with alot of different variety of stuff to choose from.

The food here for lunch or dinner is super expensive. I wish they could make the price a bit affordable for hotel guests.

The only thing I didn’t really like was the pervasive smell of food in the reception and corridors coming from the restaurant. I also found the the room was overheated, but we could open the window

The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was very nicely decorated, and there was even a coffee/tea machine. The restaurant was really good, Hawaiian themed with a huge array of cocktails, draft beers, craft beers and also a nice selection of non-alcoholic drinks, but make sure to reserve a table beforehand because they are usually full. The bus stop is right outside the hotel which was really convenient, and it goes all the way to the city center. Mainau island is only 2 bus stops away. Underground parking is available for 10 euros per night.

The breakfast buffet was alright, but it wasn't that big of a spread and I often found that they ran out of things I wanted very early and they don't top up the food fast enough (the egg salad! So good, but I only got to taste just a bit of it because they never topped it up both mornings I was there).

Unusual hotel with tropical vibes. Friendly staff. Good wifi. Beautiful decorated rooms. Very good breakfast buffet with everything you could possibly crave in the morning - coffees, prosecco, fresh cakes, eggs, vegan and vegetarian options, cereals, bread, cold cuts, puddings, etc. Delicious! Please keep in mind breakfast costs 17 Euro extra per person. Grocery market, restaurants, bakery and lake nearby.

We had to open the balcony doors to get some fresh air since it was really hot. A fan was provided but it was too loud to leave it on all night. The balcony doors need a fly screen so that mosquitos won't get into the room. A little refrigerator to cool drinks and snacks would have been nice. Parking in the underground parking garage costs extra.

Very nice Hotel, in a very beautiful location. Just a few minutes walk from the lake and the Flower Island Meinau. Spacy rooms, nice restaurant and safe parking. I hotel for families with kids and for animal friendly people.

Great guy at check-in. Excellent dinner in the restaurant followed by great breakfast the next morning. Location is close to our primary destination: Mainau. Convenient parking in the garage. Wonderful heated floor in the bathroom.

Housekeeping staff monopolized the elevator, ignoring guests trying to go up/down.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was cozy and larger than expected, especially enjoyed the small living area with a couch. Really close by to a local beach which is lovely and not crowded. Appreciated the vegan options in their menu, which despite their scarcity were very tasty.

You could hear everything happening in the hallway, which could be annoying at times If you want to reach the city center, the bus ride is quite long (ca. 25-30 mins)
