Cozy small hotel with friendly staff. Room was clean and spacious enough. Room service cleaned our room on a daily basis. Good breakfast but not that many options. Appreciated the ability to ask for fresh egg dishes to be made upon arrival. Convenient on site parking (despite not having that many places). Hotel position is close to the lake, in a residential area. Quiet and clean location. Close proximity to bus / train station. Kaufland was just 10 minutes away. Ferry to Mainau island was also very close to the hotel (5 minutes away, tickets sold onboard).

Limited number of restaurants in the area (usually requires reservation) Value for money is not the hotel’s strong point. Offers too few amenities for the asking price.

Great location. Very modern and clean apartment with a nice bathroom. A little park with a view of the lake is right next to the hotel. Easy to reach by car and by bus and train, which are free with the Bodensee card you receive via the hotel.

The room was really warm. There is no airconditioning, the duvets were really thick and it was difficult to air the room since there are no bug nets and the hotel is next to the lake. When we gave the hotel feedback about this they also weren’t very responsive to this, suggesting we sit in the dark with a small candle on.

What a gem of a hotel! Such a lovely big room for three with a large balcony and views of the lake. Hotel has private beach access and offers parking for free. The breakfast was good, standard continental choice. Bus links very local and easy to use and the staff were lovely. Would definitely recommend!

There is no air conditioning in the rooms and it was very hot at night.

Our room was spacious and well appointed. The bathroom was quite modern and comfortable. The balcony had a lake view, which we really enjoyed as well as a sun umbrella and drying rack for our wet swimsuits. The breakfast was generous and we sat outside on the terrace enjoying more lakeside time. Parking was easy and convenient.

The room was expensive and the hotel does not take credit cards. We had to withdraw cash to pay for the room. This was no problem for a single night, but for longer stays, it would be difficult.

Location, the staff is really nice, good breakfast and next to a little beach that is almost private.

The room didn’t have airconditioning but I understand that it is exceptional to be so hot (35 C) and we could open the doors to the balcony
