This is my second stay here. The family that owns/runs this place is great. I like this property being away from all of the hustle and bustle and it is very quiet. It is truly a gem.

My room was located right above the dining area which allowed for some noise from below. But it was a very nice, well appointed room. I would also like to see an option for an English channel on the TV. I normally don't watch much TV, but when it gets dark so early I like to watch a program or two, but this is not at all a deal breaker as I will be back!

Reception was very helpful and exceedingly pleasant. Our room,#2 Stephanie was really clean and comfortable . It was on the ground floor with the patio immediately in front . Unloaded bicycle panniers and trailer immediately into room . Great bike storage inside a special room . Immediately along the bike trail along the Naab River . Schloss is very old outside but quite modern inside . Restaurant for dinner about 2 minute walk away - bit pricey but some unique food choices. Restaurant personnel were very pleasant . Breakfast was very good with hot food options offered .

Could have a bit more interior light available.

It exceeded all expectations. Picturesque little village on the riverside, calm and quiet. We stayed at a "garden house" which was excellently clean and well equipped. So cozy and welcoming! With a perfect garden view just from your bed which was also very very comfortable! People helping us were extremely nice and made us feel at home. Thank you so much for your amazing place!

Impossible to dislike anything.

The room was comfortable and well decorated, everything was clean, lots of attention to detail, check-in was easy. The staff is absolutely delightful and spoke English flawlessly which was wonderful. This is a place that we would love to come back to and spend more time at. The breakfast was phenomenal and the entire stay was so very enjoyable.

It was very cute and genuine ❤️ It is a real castle. The stuff was very polite and friendly. We arrived very late, they did everything for us to feel like home. We really appreciate it and would come again for sure. The breakfast was good enough in a very beautiful dining room.

Maybe, I would like to have windows with the view at the river)) but I understand, that it is an old real castle, windows were projected a long ago 👌☺️

Nice experience of an old castle, some details are kept from that time. Location next to a river and a restaurant, countryside. Around 18km to Regensburg. Clean rooms, comfy beds, nice lady at the reception, kids books and games in the family appartament that has 2 bedrooms in separated by entrance hall.

Wonderful choice. Lovely family run hotel. Nothing was too much trouble. We needed a two day rest on our drive from England to Vienna. We loved it so much we will stay here again on our drive back next month. Very good people in a delightful setting just outside Regensberg in a beautiful valley. The home made food is good too.

This is an absolute jewel of a hotel, spotlessly clean, beautiful rooms, lovely setting, marvellous host! The rooms were fabulously decorated and the whole hotel had a historical feeling but with modern amenities and cleanliness. it is obvious the hosts care very deeply for their property. To add to the experience we were amazed to find a ‘fine dining’ experience in a beer garden in the castle grounds!

It's a very charming place surrounded by beautiful scenery. The woman who helped me was very sweet and easy going. I stayed well past check out drinking coffee and working in the sunroom. It was very pleasant.

Еxcellent hotel. Quiet, beautiful location. excellent room service. The rooms are cozy and clean. I especially liked the breakfast, where all the dishes were delicious. Thank you for everything, we will definitely come to you again.
