We needed a hotel as a stopover UK to CZ, that was pet friendly and had EV charging. Alice on reception was very helpful and managed to keep our fresh dog food refrigerated which was mightly helpful. The EV charging is plentiful (rapid only) with Tesla (Polestar 2 compatible) and another brand. The food at the restaurant next door was great, we really enjoyed the breakfast (buffet or a la carte) and dinner options. The room was modern and despite the large truck stop behind there were no noise issues. AC worked well. There is a Shell service station onsite for snacks and fuel.

Not a problem for us but there is no kettle in the room that I remember.

Brilliant first over night stop on our Europe road trip. Good en route location with no need to come much of our way. Arrived at 23hrs, a title chaotic check in but no problem. Parked easily and safely for free. Plenty of space to walk our dog. Third bed was made up ready for rest. Clean, roomy space, nice large bathroom, good towels and bedding. Convenient first floor for dog, super quiet and overall pleasant stay. Check out easy. Breakfast terrible, overpriced basics and flies sitting on food all over. But I was hungry. Staff was nice.

Comfortable and clean room, very quiet. Easy to check in late at petrol station and the man there was very kind trying to communicate in English due to my lack of German!

Breakfast at restaurant was €17.50 for a buffet. We chose to buy pastries and coffee at the petrol station instead. A kettle in the room would have been nice.

Ease of access. Clean and friendly

Breakfast was meagre for the price. Staff in the restaurant at breakfast not overly helpful. Hot water for tea not readily available and coffee was very bad. Restaurant tables not wiped and fries on the floor under the table from the evening meal. Despite having paid for the night and for the breakfast we had to pay for the use of the toilet too..! Though I received confirmation later that this should have been compensated by the breakfast staff. Though at the time the staff were unaware of this.

The property was great. We were a bit worried because it’s next to the highway but the rooms are soundproofed and the decor and everything inside was up to a very high standard. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room and shower room were very clean and spacious…we travelled with our dog and this was the only place he managed to sleep without waking up during the night! We stayed in the Radisson the night after our stay here and I much preferred Am Russel!!!

The pillows. I’d suggest bringing your own from home if you can…the pillows were quite lumpy.

Proximity to highway is a killer. I was looking for a pitstop which is family friendly and this property ticks those boxes. There are good options to eat out with their own restaurant and also macdonals cafe in the vicinity. There are gas stations and electric charging points too.

We chose to buy breakfast at the property and the breakfast options were quite disappointing. I hope they increase the options at the buffet. Electric charging points use CCS type and not type 2. Be aware.

The practicality of a hotel close to the highway, with very good accessibilities, plenty of parking places (including EV charging places), well organized check-in (including late check-in in the gas station), rooms was spacious, comfortable and clean. The gummy bears left in each pillow were appreciated.

Nothing special. The breakfast options were not the best, but there is always McDonald's 24/7 open.

This hotel was great! It was the perfect place to stop over to break our long journey up. It was very clean, great family room and very modern with new and well maintained facilities including a really nice bathroom. Easy free parking, easy check in and out and very comfortable too.

The only thing that would have made it perfect was if they had coffee and tea facilities in the room diner could have had a drink at night and morning.

Lots of free parking, gas station and 24 hour McDonald’s all together. The hotel itself is no frills but great price for what you get. Plenty of room in a family room with a pull out sofa for parents and twin 6 year olds. Had the modern convenience of being able to charge mobile phones next to beds. Also was clean.

Nothing, especially for the price.

This hotel, conveniently located right off the highway, is perfect for an overnight stay during a journey. Late-night check-in through the adjacent gas station was smooth, and the spacious, clean room provided a comfortable retreat. Walking areas nearby made it easy to exercise with our pet, and the large, secure parking area enhanced the sense of safety. A good breakfast was available early, completing a positive experience.
