A traditional hotel in the heart of beautiful Kaufbeuren. We received a warm welcome from receptive, attentive staff throughout our stay. A special thank you to the breakfast team who presented a fresh continental breakfast daily and were so happy and engaging. We loved eating alfresco on the hotel terrace. From our large double room (201) at the front of the hotel we could enjoy the architecture of this storybook town. You can hear the church bells day & night. We'd highly recommend staying here.

There was a musty smell in the hotel, but It wouldn't put me off staying again. The hotel is currently undergoing construction, but it did not affect our stay.

Situated in the centre of the town. There's an attached restaurant with outside seating. I stayed twice after travelling to and from Munich. First time I was able to park my motorcycle for free in a carpark a few minutes walk away. The second time I was told this wasn't available and that I'd have to pay to use the underground carpark. Only about 8 euros but I wasn't expecting it. Staff very nice.

On the first night there was a wedding in the room below so loud music was playing until early hours. Not something major but worth being aware of if theres an event when you arrive.

It is an a really good location, in the middle of the city. The staff was nice and helpful, the rooms were really cmfortable. it is an old building but it is celverly refurbished and met all our expectations

There are limited parking options, but the staff will offer you alternatives, which are useful and also not too expensive.

It was a very clean hotel. The room we stayed in was divided into 2 floors and had a very nice architecture. It was very fascinating to stay in a historical building. I would like to stay again.

Bathroom could be bigger and toilet could be modernized, but it is overall meeting the needs. It is a historical building, it seems that it is hard to make changes

The staff was friendly and helpful and their English was wonderful. My room was incredibly comfortable (the best bed I've had my whole trip) and the area the hotel in is beautiful. There is a lift for anyone who needs it. I didn't take breakfast but had a coffee at the cafe and it was delicious.

Nothing - everything was perfect.

Fantastic location but still so peaceful at night. Beautiful town with great little shops and lots of history. The content garden is a must see plus drinks at the Dicker Hund cannot be beaten. Wonderful staff at hotel, nothing was too much trouble.

Nothing to dislike.

The location was great. I was on a business trip with colleagues and the hotel was very comfortable for our purposes, it is located in central but calm area and is relatively near to Munich. The restaurant was offered delicious food and nice view.

We enjoyed our stay in the 2 levels apartment, great for three people. Very clean and well thought, we had Harribos on our pillows. Nice parking, very easy to get to.

The bathroom was in two separate “rooms” - the WC&sink and the shower - which was mostly unexpected, not necessarily unpleasant

Everything! Comfy beds, cleanliness, big size room, exceptional breakfast (including delicious cheese platter with fruit/nuts). Restaurants and shops nearby, central location.

One of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in, super friendly staff and a nice breakfast.

The room could be a little more updated style-wise. And stronger coffee at breakfast would be great.
