Reception at the hotel , a person named Ute , was absolutely splendid . Very helpful , friendly and knowledgeable . Very good inside bike storage . Room was large , very clean with a great bathroom and very comfortable bed . The shower was super ! Within less than 2 km. to several really good restaurants in the town center . An easy bicycle ride . Excellent Greek cuisine at Taverna Keramos . Breakfast simple but adequate in an old officer’s mess-hall that was full of ambiance . Beautiful green and peaceful area .

Really no definitive dislikes although would have liked it if their restaurant was still in operation . Also breakfast was adequate but could have used a few more food items .

Staff took the time to call us in advance of our stay to make sure our family would be comfortable in the room and then accommodated us in one that was perfect for us. Very spacious rooms and clean and tidy. Breakfast served at restaurant next door had a mix of everything, including hot scrambled eggs and smoked salmon! Staff were all very friendly and happy to be of help.

The hotel is located in a very atmospheric and interesting place, hotel service at a very high level, tasty food, the restaurant also very atmospheric. The area around the hotel is very quiet and peaceful.

Everything just vent smoothly with all. Nice and helpsom crew. Bed was amazing to sleep on.

Beds huge but typically German hard

It's a very echoic building and some noisy guests arrive late. People smoking outside reception as usual in Germany so you can't keep your windows open. No minibars, personal fridges any more, I assume because eating in the rooms is now discouraged.

Very nice and large room. Very friendly receptionist at the reception.

The hotel design is a little dated but very clean and the staff was *excellent*, very accommodating and helpful and made smooth arrangements for my late arrival. The continental breakfast was fine. Very good value for money. (Stayed one night)
