I booked this hotel as a cheap base for visiting Cologne and was very pleasantly surprised. For the price (and if the S-bahn is running) it was really convenient. About 25 mins from the main train station to Sindorf, then 10 mins walk to the hotel. I especially appreciated the tea/coffee making facilities in the room -- this wasn't listed but makes a big difference, especially as the hotel doesn't offer breakfast. There are bakeries and cafes in the town, about 10-15 mins walk from the hotel. The room was large and clean, though definitely dated. I slept really well though. The WiFi worked fine. I checked in late so didn't have much contact with the staff.

The carpet in the bedroom is rather old. The bath towel was a bit sticky, as though too much fabric softener or something had been used.

Spacious, clean room with a desk, a table, two chairs, tv. Good bathroom, very clean. Also helpful staff member who helped us straighten out a mistake we made when booking.

The mattress was sort of collapsing on the side closest to the bathroom. Probably requires a newer or better quality mattress. A bit of highway noise if you wanted some fresh air in the room.

Water pressure was varying a lot when many people take shower at the same time or toilet was flushed. That was changing the water temperature and it is really unpleasant and time consuming to finish your shower. This needs to fixed to reach higher rate

Don’t expect anything super special, but it is a good place to stay. Friendly, helpful people. Rooms are big enough, clean. Nice beds. Good matrasses. Shower, everything there what you need for a nice stay and night. It is not new, but it works, and it is clean and quiet in the hotel!👍 Our kids felt relaxed! Breakfast is simple but more than enough! Warm eggs, good coffee and tea! And for a nice price it is a place where we would like to go again!

The backyard is very cute, so is the breakfast area, tables etc.. It is near the motorway so very convenient for stopover in my case - yet the hotel is in a quiet and pretty location The single room I booked was spacious and very comfortable. It was also below ground level, nice and cool despite the summer heat.

I could hear the neighbouring room, whose guests woke me up around 1am as they came back.

Excellent location to stay outside of Cologne Few minutes walk to train station to go directly downtown Cologne

Quiet place just near highway, large clean rooms,friendly and kind staff. I would recommend this hotel.

Problematic parking, parking place is evidently smaller then hotel capacity. But it is possible park in the street near by. Sofa bed is a bit noisy at night. Finally ok. No space for bicycles. I would not have written if thefe was not mention cycling in hotel description.

Staff was friendly and polite Rooms and bathroom was spotless

Nice simple family hotel. Clean. Nice staff. Breakfast was good.

Parking spaces are tight. Need to arrive earlier than later if there are other guests to insure space to park

The room is very clean and the staff goes beyond themselves to try to make you feel great in their location. The breakfast was exceptional and the dining room and terrace were very nice. Location very close to a mall in the region.
