Despite emailing the hotel for two days and requesting my invoice, they never respond to the emails. This is frustrating because I need to close my expenses as this is a business trip! The hotel suddenly closes in the middle of the day without any notice, which is inconvenient as I could have forgotten something or needed assistance. (19.09) The door was locked, and there was no one at reception. Even a family trying to check in was left waiting outside. Their operating hours should be clearer. There were no paper slippers in the room.

Using Weeze airport in the early hours the next day, the family of 4 needed a room to sleep before the flight. Browsing properties and prices, Elaya hotel looked like a good option. Arriving after a long journey on the road, the hotel overlooking a green space, promised great fun for the kids. The staff was warm and helpful and provided a kettle shortly when requested so the baby bottle could be made. The room was welcoming and the sofa had been converted into a supplementary bed, which was ideal for the kids. The bathroom was big, spacious and practical, although I missed a couple of pegs to hang the towels. After freshening up, the storm came. It poured down and we could not use the promising outdoor space. We managed to make it to the restaurant/bar under the hotel. Good ambiance, and professional service. After a short sleepover we left for Weeze Airport before breakfast. I don't tend to leave reviews but this time I had no choice as the hotel clearly surpassed my expectations and left me thinking that next time I use Weeze airport I will not only come back but stay 2 nights as the area looks very idyllic and the price provides great value for money.

The breakfast was the best I have attended in a long time

The glass window between the bedroom and bathroom was not ideal, when sharing with children - I would not advise that in any hotel.

Stayed in Kevelar as we were flying from Weeze airport. Great room and facilities. Staff were really helpful despite check in being closed when we arrived and left, left us details of early buses to the airport.

Very nice modern comfortable and spacious rooms, well located walking distance to the center, complete breakfast buffet and nice service.

We missed a toilet on the ground floor fir arriving guests. The pillows were too soft-flat.

It was good we could enter at any time, although it felt weird that there was nobody there. The hotel is pretty new everything works very well. I love the place to walk around

Located in nice small town close to the border to the Netherlands. Nice looking hotel and with good design. Family room was spacious comfortable and clean and a nice a view on the neighboring part. Reception has limited opening hours but receptionist was nice and helpful. Restaurant at the ground floor, independent from the hotel, has a nice terrace for drinks or meals. Though in week end was a little bit noisy with loud music in the evening but not too late into the night. Overall good room for the price.

Some noise on Saturday evening coming from the neighboring restaurant but not too late into the night. Otherwise neighborhood is very quiet.

Very clean comfortable room and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was good value at €13.

Very few facilities: no proper bar, no gym and the TV had only foreign language channels.
