Lovely Schloss with very pretty surroundings. Room was spacious and quaint. Would visit again but need to make sure to make a reservation at the restaurant when booking the accommodation.

The gentleman who greeted us was not very friendly and really put a bit of a damper on the otherwise fantastic stay. We wanted to eat at the restaurant but it was full that evening. That was our fault for not reserving but when we asked if it might be possible to even get a drink and sit outside that evening (it was a lovely day) we were curtly told that it would not be possible. The Schloss is quite isolated with no restaurants or bars nearby so the fact we could not even get a drink at the restaurant bar was quite surprising and disappointing.

Wonderful hotel, cute little cottages with lovely configured rooms. My Room was on the smaller side, but was really nicely configured. It was clean, windows have insect nets installed. The Staff was really friendly. The location is something else, with the Schloss and the nature all around!

The Shower drain was clogged, and the morning shower was a bit of a hassle to not flood the bathroom. Wifi in the room "Gottlieb" was non existent, but Telekom 5g worked! The Parking is a ways off, so heavy luggage in the rain might be a chore.

The room which was rather an apartment was spacious and has a nice view. Very comfortable bed. Very beautiful surrounding and the Schloss . Unfortunately you cannot enter and explore it inside. I thought it is a museum but not. Very peaceful area.

I came over for breakfast to check it out before I book it if it’s worth having it there. To be honest for the price it was not worth it for me.

The property is lovely! It’s like going back in time to a manor, out in the country side. I love the quiet, private space, with open grounds. Perfect to go with dogs if you have any.

Maybe having a mini fridge is something to think about because we went on New Year’s Eve and we just wanted to get snacks and drinks to store for the evening and next morning but we didn’t have anywhere to keep it cool.

The stay was really comfortable in the small apartments in the vicinity of the castle. They are not directly connected to the castle itself, but 3-4 apartments form a house. And there are such multiple houses offered for guests. The apartments are nicely decorated with furniture from ancient times, also with pictures showing the history of the people who lived in the castle long time ago. it is also possible to visit the castle grounds, though not possible to enter the castle itself without prior appointment. The service and the breakfast buffet were also really nice. The location is picture perfect.

The approach road to the castle is a bit narrow. But this cannot be easily changed I suppose, as the castle is surrounded by water.

Beautiful peaceful location with very helpful staff. Room was spacious and bed comfortable. Restaurant serves great food.

The feather pillows need replacing as they give no support. Comfortable arm chairs to read or watch television would have been appreciated

The castle is in a beautiful setting. Very peaceful and green. The room was gorgeous and comfy, I especially loved the bathroom! The young chap on reception was so friendly and helpful and made me feel at ease.

I arrived at 6pm and there was nowhere nearby to eat without the need of a car. I was given a number of a restaurant who could deliver however they did not answer the phone. This is useful to know, because if you are travelling with children you don't want to end up with them having no dinner like I did.

Lovely location and room. We were surprised because room was much nicer than the pictures portrayed. Would definitely come back and stay next time we use the airport.

Everything was lovely. The location might be an issue for some people. We walked from town and it took us 25 minutes. If you had lots of luggage you would need a taxi.

Nice hotel in beautiful area. We stayed only one night in apartment with kitchen. Good bed, big space, big bathroom. Personal very servicial.

Kitchen area with too basic equipment, without kitchen smoke extraction. The illumination is very low and isn’t sufficient for cooking and dining area.
