The hotel is excellent. We thought that for such a cheap price we could only get a modest budget. no. the hotel is extremely comfortable, modern, beautiful, clean. I travel very often, this is the first hotel where for breakfast (in addition to 10 types of salami and ham and various cheeses, sausages, hot dogs, eggs and salad) they offered raw salmon cut into thin slices. Excellent breakfast. The hotel looks modest from the outside, don't be put off by that detail. Parking is free.

I don't think this hotel has any flaws, but I believe that for many, the distance from the centre is an important issue. Two tram lines have to be changed.

The room was really nice, spotlessly clean and comfortable beds. We paid extra for breakfast which was a buffet with something for everyone and the breakfast room itself was really nice. We (3 couples) went to a music festival nearby and the reception staff arranged our taxis for us.

We would have liked a kettle in the room so that we could have a cuppa or a coffee when we got back from our night out also we were told we could buy a tea/coffee from the breakfast room but the lady wouldn't let us when we tried. As the hotel is out of the way it really needs to provide a kettle.

The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly, and the air conditioning kept the room cool even during hot day. The location is a bit far from the city center but on the plus side, there’s plenty of parking space, and the nearest tram station is less than 10 minutes away on foot. There were a couple of weddings during our stay but once we closed the window, it was perfectly quiet inside the room.

Location is ok if you have a car - quick exit from the city. no city noise, free parking available, good breakfasts, nice personel, quick check-in and check out

the only thing I didn't like was that the bed was made of 2 mattresses that were coming apart, the mattresses were too soft for me, but that's just my whim

The hotel is attached to a venue, called Platin, for wedding receptions etc. and there was an event on for both our evenings, but we were not disturbed. Both evenings, the road up to the hotel and a narrow parallel lane were packed with cars for the events. About 200 cars each evening. We were parked in the hotel courtyard without any problem. The hotel seems new and the room was very good. Reception was very friendly, and we were able to use the coffee machine in the breakfast area for tea and coffee. The coffee machine takes 2.50 in the slot for coffee but the hot water, tea, milk, and sugar were free. The hotel is very handy for the tram into town. The station is about 500 metres away so easy walking distance. Buy a ticket on the tram for 3.20 single using the machine (contactless) in the carriage. If you want a quick breakfast there is a good bakery about 30 yards away selling croisant etc. and coffee. It is open 04:00 to 10:00 but not Sunday.

It's out of the city so less expensive but very easy to get to the inner city with the train in about 20 Minutes.

It also an event location. We had to change rooms because it was too loud. But the staff were great and our new room was perfect and quiet.

There isn’t anything of interest close to the hotel but the tram stop is close by We already knew there wasn’t a kettle in the room so we brought our own, if we hadn’t known it would’ve been disappointing.

Staff were really friendly, rooms were spacious and clean. We didn't use it but the wedding venue hall looks incredible.

No kettles, tea or coffee in the rooms which wasnt great . Location , there's no shops, banks ,cafes within easy walking distance so it feels quite isolated.

Walking distance to "Die Kantine", our actual destination for a concert... only 10 minutes walking or so. Although the hotel had a wedding party going on in the saloon, the rooms were still quiet. The rooms looked impeccable , clean and modern. We went running and the Rhein-River is not far at all so for runners was a great spot to get to a nice running path.

Breakfast was actually ok, but since we came relatively late some things were finished and it did not look like they were replenishing anything... we still had enough to eat, but it just looked like it was running out. When we arrive, although there were planty of parking spaces in the hotel and in the street, they were all full due to the wedding going on in the hotel, so we had to park a little bit further than expected (but still for free).

It was an excellent location with all what you need. If you wish to stop in Koln without paying the green ticket this is the place.

The location is a little bit far from the city. If you want to go downtown you need to take an Uber.
