The hotel has everything you need, very comfortable beds, very clean facilities and the friendliest staff! It’s in a great location next to a shop, bakery and down the road from a pub and only a short walk away from the tram station! The room was very affordable and we would 100% stay again if we came back!

Reception not open after 6pm! We left our baggage but had to return before 6 to claim it before reception closed, only hinderance there was and we had a close call not making it back before 6 because of the traffic! However the staff was lovely and did stay the extra 15 minutes to await our arrival after calling them to let them know! Other than that perfect

We stayed just one night. Spacious room. Hotel's a brisk short walk from the U-Bahn station connecting it to central Cologne. There is a grocery store just next door which is good for snacks, water, drinks among others. A couple of restaurants / pubs and pizza places along the way for food or take away. The building is pretty and the area seemed to be residential and cozy.

No refrigerator or electric kettle or even glasses for drinking water in the room. We did not notice until we came back from our convention late in the evening. I guess had we seen earlier we could have may be asked for glasses. The room didn't have air-conditioner but had a small tower fan though and it was well enough for the night ( it was a 28°C+ warm day).

The room was a fairly standard sized double bedroom for a small hotel. While there was not much of a view from the bedroom window, it was quiet for the most part. Breakfast was excellent with decent variety. The reception staff were exceptionally friendly and the hotel was conveniently located for public transport and access to restaurants and supermarkets.

There was no lift, which meant I needed to take care with my elderly mother going up and down stairs.

Clean, convenient, comfortable the communication from Thomas the manager was excellent to booking and throughout our stay. What ever our request was, was granted if possible and in such a professional and pleasant manner from all of the staff, must say that it was, and is the best place I have stayed in Germany for the price. Special thanks once again to Thomas.

I stayed here one night in order to go to a gig at Die Kantine (about 30 minutes' walk away). The hotel was ideal for the purpose. The room was clean and well-equipped. Comfortable bed. Good shower. Wi-Fi worked well. Quiet location a couple of minutes' walk from a quiet stretch of the Rhine - an impressive view. Good breakfast. Friendly and efficient staff.

The Location was nice, A 10mins Tramtrain from Cologne City, You'll find the train underground, Just near the Cathedral, Go down steps next to cathedral, Look for 16 Niehl Sebastanstr sign ,There will be a escalator going down to the platform They run every 10 mins, When you head back into Cologne, I got off at Dom/ HBF station ,It gets back to the cathedral, As you leave the station at Niehl Sebastanstr turn right and walk 5 mins.The Hotel is bright, Very clean and lovely staff. And there's a food shop literally next to the Hotel. My room was spacious, Clean and good Internet and Sky TV, The ensuite was fabulous as well..Breakfast was extra which I did not use.When reception closes on your key has a key fob and next to the shop is a adjacent door that can be open with your key fob. Turn right as you leave the Hotel and within 3 - 4 mins walk you'll be next to The River Rhine..

Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The room was too hot.

The check in process is simply ridiculous. Hadn’t we encountered another guest who retrieved our keys, we’d had to slept on the street or booked another hotel. We tried to call the customer service support and there was no response. The hotel is VERY far from the center of the city.

Close to the Rhein in quite neighborhood which was close to the event I was attending.

I was woken at 5am by the guest in the next room having a telephone conversation. They were not speaking loudly, either. I'd recommend ear plugs for light sleepers.

Beautifully decorated room which was super clean. Staff super nice and helpful.

No air conditioner and in full afternoon sun the curtains and windows were left open. Understandable that an air conditioner is too costly however all other cost free things should be done to keep things cool for guest arrival.

The staff was very kind, letting us keep our bags there for the remaider of the day after checking out and even alerting us to having left something in one of our rooms. Also the sweets were good.

One of the door handles was not affixed correctly, making it more difficult to lock it and unable to close while unlocked. Furthermore, the shared balcony would allow other guests to appear at your balcony door. Even though this wasn't a problem for us because we had both rooms on the shared balcony, this means that the room would be less private if the other room would be occupied by other guests.
