What I like the most is the staff, they are so nice! I am older, and my right leg has a problem, so I asked for a lower bed at booking. They reserved a lower bed for me, and put my name on a lower bed before I arrived, that just made me feel so happy. After checking in, while I was in another room from the reception area, a young man at the reception desk saw me puzzling, he got up to ask me if I need help. On the day I was leaving, a young lady staff asked if I need help to carry down my luggage. I just can't thank enough for all the care they gave me. May God bless you all!

Super friendly staff, very much impressed by relaxed atmosphere, everything is easy to find. The palce is also barrier free, with elevators to every spot needed. I stayed with my 3 year old daughter in a private room, we got a very spacious room, and I found the place perfectly fine for kids. There are even some kids' toys in the ground floor lounge. There is also a shared kitchen for everyone to use, which I found extremely convenient. Breakfast was 10€ for adults and children up to 6 years was free, so I couldn't be more excited than that. Location is also the best. Everything I needed was in walking distance, also just 13 min walking to the Zoo.

The room was surprisingly spacious, with separate spaces for the bunk beds and the double bed. There were also two toilets, which was super convenient for our family of five. There was a little outdoor space with table and chairs - I know it is to accommodate smokers (we don't smoke), but my kids loved going out and sitting in the sun. We didn't really take advantage of the kitchen space outside of putting stuff in the refrigerator, but all the necessities were there as far as I could see. Check-in was quick and easy and all the staff that I interacted with were super friendly. The hotel was steps away from several restaurants and we were able to easily walk to many of the sites we wanted to see in Leipzig. My kids love eating breakfast at the hotels and this one did not disappoint. It was super budget-friendly and had a good variety of options.

The room had very high ceilings, which meant it was very echoey. Not such a big deal, but I did worry that the noise from my kids would be amplified and possibly bother other people.

Clean, comfortable, safe and simple accommodation in the heart of Leipzig. Beds were comfortable, water hot with good pressure. There are small things that need attention, skirting board chips and shower hose is worn etc, but it did not negatively impact my stay.The TV had only 3 channels to watch. Cafeteria was good, nice to have access to coffee. I was delighted by how spotlessly clean everything was and considering how many rooms, the noiselevel was fine. I will certainly stay at 5 Elements again and can recommend it.

Ideally situated just off of Leipzig main square, with lots of bars and/or restaurants in close proximity. The room was spacious and more than enough room for four people, with facilities to cook and eat, if needed. Could comfortably stay there for 2-3 days. Downstairs there is a small bar area near reception, which seemed welcoming although we did not stop in (an awful duo who believed everyone wanted to listen to their vocal and guitar collaboration!).

Navigating your way around the building could be a struggle, while the shower temperature had a mind of its own at times. Overall, though, shower was great. Even if some of us forget there is no shower gel. Wasn't a double bed (not that we wanted one), so it would have been nice if we could have pulled the beds a little further apart.

EXCELLENT LOCATION! its right next to Marketplatz, which made it so easy for us while walking around the city, easily accesible. The staff was great from the very beginning, super helpful and gave us tips right away! Despite the fact its right in downtown didnt feel noisy at all. Beds were super comfy and it felt everything was super clean. Breakfast Buffet was a great, great option too! Delicious, with variety of options! Ladies serving breakfast were lovely and super welcoming. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Id definitely stay here again!

8 bed mixed dorm room was spacious with separate bathroom. Bed was comfortable. Enough quiet in the room. Shared kitchen in the lounge was available with almost everything you need for cooking. Lounge was very big. Location of hostel really great.

Could be a bit cleaner or cleaned more often, especially the floor in the bathroom and tables and floor in the lounge. As in most hostels in Germany, you need a padlock for locker (I already had one), but in this hostel at check-in receptionist already asked do I need it (so they have padlocks).

The place in itself is nice and pretty, and the bathroom was comfortable, so were the beds. The location was pretty good, with lots of options nearby and right in the center so we barely had to use public transportation and we used it only to go outside of the center.

Even though the bathroom was comfortable, more hooks would be better for the towels and also there was just one towel for the hands/feet, so we naturally chose one towel for the hands and none for the feet for getting out of the shower, so the floor got wet. What was very bad was the internet. In certain areas internet was quite bad and slow. Also video calls (at least from Google Meet) were blocked because every time we tried to get into one, we never heard anyone and the call dropped around 20 seconds afterwards, so I assume it's blocked by the network. Some online mobile games were also blocked. If you want to work here and need to hop into calls, stay somewhere else, if you're just travelling, then it's a great place to stay.

I really loved the hostel! I was expexting totally nothing while booking the cheapest hostel from booking, during the weekend. And I was amazed! Place was located almost on the market square. 24h reception connected with a bar. Nice and polite Staff. Everything was really clean and renovated! Bathroom was inside the room, not on the corridor, like many hostels do I had a bed in 4-person room. Great large kitchen with new equipment. Good quality bedsheets. Also before check in - Staff was super helpfull and helped me with my package, picked it up from UPS and handled during check-in. I am super gratefull for that, because those were my concert tickets, so main reason why I came to Leipzig.

Pillow was a bit outdated and too soft. Also my bed was missing a slot to put a card inside so everyone would know its taken - room 112. But those are just a small things. For this price - hostel is amazing. Great value for money!

We were very pleased with our stay at the hostel. The staff is very polite. The family room was spacious, with its own bathroom, kitchen, and all the essentials needed for a comfortable stay. Its central location was perfect—close to dining places, shops, the metro, and the train station. The zoo was also within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again!
