Clean with a comfortable bed ... shared bathroom was spotless. Price was very fair for my 2 nights . Would definitely stay again . Close to centre of Leipzig and 10/12 mins walk to Leipzig hbf. Would have no hesitation at all staying again. Never had breakfast so can't comment on that but eating area looked nice and quirky . No complaints at all. Lady on reception spoke perfect English and was very helpful .

Awesome building, in a very centra area of Leipzig, must have been renovated recently, my room was fresh new! The hotel has lots of community space and services, which I haven't use, but you might. Room is cosy, very clean and spacious, mine had bed and living area, together with an entrance and a big bathroom. Plus 1 for not making a fuss cause I came with a bike without actually say that before, next time I'll advise before. Only materasses could be a bit better.

This marble of life combines accommodation, eating out, cultural events, atmospheric dining, cigar smoking, having a drink, etc. etc. in a fantastic retro-style building complex with large rooms, high sealings, herbs and roses blooming in the garden. It comes with shared bathrooms - featuring a washing machine (!) - and a large and well equipped kitchen - plus a separate bar with an interior right out of a movie and a separate diner. The room we got was huge, so we were impressed.

A large room in a lovely old building, with access to shared bathroom, toilet and kitchen-dining room. It was quiet, relatively central - perfect for the Gewandhaus and Opera - and it had a proper Reception desk with friendly staff. Great for those who like atmosphere, less so for those who want a lift and the latest design features.

Comfortable and cozy rooms, very clean, with friendly staff and guests. It's located near the music hall, you can walk back to the hotel after a concert. Leipzig is by far my favorite city in Germany, and everyone is glad to help others. I feel that even the atmosphere of the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra is better than that the Berlin Philharmonic. I visited the Bach Museum, Schumann Museum, and Mendelssohn Museum. Had a great time talking to the people of Leipzig. Leipzig is a city closer to heart, like a home.

I love the feel of the building. It is old, with large rooms and hallways. I shared my bathroom, but only with one or two other rooms, so I barely met any other guests and never had to wait. I even took a nice and long bath. It felt like I was staying over with a far away aunt. I loved it

location is great! An old, renovated industry building (used for printing musical notes). Quit and nice rooms. a slight taste of student or church associated housing (meant as a compliment!!). No bling-bling. A pub nearby and and a restaurant for breakfast and other meals. Very good quality and again very charming.

The weather :-). Location was just perfect for me/us and perfect for budget travelling.

Huge room and very comfortable beds. The shared bathroom was very clean and even had a bath as well as a shower. The shared kitchen was well equipped. Good location near to the centre but also fairly quiet. There was also a very attractive garden area.

We were woken around 5.00am by some noise outside - not sure what it was and I guess not the fault of the accommodation!

Water is very cheap to encourage you to drink more. Also, there were many kinds of juice and vegan milk. Lastly, I felt quite safe there as a solo traveler.

I liked the location very much. It was within walking distance of the tram station, train station, hbf, the university, as well as the market area.

I found the room a bit overpriced for its value.
