It was very clean and we liked the location. It’s easily accessible with public transport - only 10 mins from the city centre.

Despite the rooms being spacious and clean. They opened the entire wall to the bathroom and added frosted glass panels with a sliding door. There is no soundproofing and you can see the person inside. It’s alright for a long term couple but not great if you like privacy in the bathroom…

I was there for Conne Island event - real close and great location. The hotel is an old tenement house, with wooden stairs, high ceilings etc., but all furnishing is new and in great condition. Comfy beds, fresh linen and towels, bathroom fittings like new, everything cozy and very clean. Drink station in the lobby allows you to buy beer, wine and water any time of day and night, no money needed (on the room), self-service. Breakfast was simple but tasty and plenty, with different drinks variety. Most staff do not speak English, one lady managed and she was very kind, friendly and helpful.

No AC in the rooms, but fan was provided and worked well. Nights are quiet, but there's noise coming from the streets from the early morning.

It was a stopover between Poland and UK. Only few minutes from our original route. We were travelling with two kids and a dog. Had a quadruple room, very comfortable with an adjoining room for the kids rather than a usual pullout sofa as in many family rooms. Safe parking space behind a locked gate, although we arrived around 8pm and took the last available parking space so you need to be lucky or prearrange it with the reception. If you are not planning to drive into the city and leave the car in the car park you will not need a green environmental badge (the city has an environmental zone which starts around 500m from the hotel). Very friendly and helpful hotel staff. Good breakfast included in the price. The hotel is close to many small cafes and restaurants which are open late, we were able to have a decent pizza with the kids in the evening. Would recommend it as a good resting break on a long car journey.

The manager at this hotel was outstanding. She met us and showed us around the property, making sure we had everything we needed. Room was spacious with a nice view of the city. Bathroom was very clean and the shower pressure was excellent. Included breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. Breakfast staff was very friendly and efficient.

The location was a little worrisome at first. Loses of graffiti on so many buildings but walking to dinner in the evening and to the pharmacy the next morning we felt just fine. Many friendly people said hello.

This hotel is an archive gem. Ok, it is little bit old and you can see it everywhere... But the managers if the hotel knows this very very well and they try to get the very best of this (old) hotel. Reception is extremely helpful, rooms are spotless clean, breakfast is above average, there is a great automat for drinks etc... The result is - you don´t mind at all that the hotel is old, because you feel so happy there...

The walls are a bit thin... There are few spots on the wall... but never mind!

The hotel is on the border of the Leipzig green zone, so you don't need an eco sticker to get there by car. The building is old and looks like a maze, sparkling water and a coffee machine are available 24/7 near the reception, which was great! The 2 ladies we met at the reception were extremely helpful and we could even get public transportation tickets from them. Free private parking was also great! Tram 11 will take you to city center in 30 minutes.

The breakfast restaurant felt old and some of the chairs had loose joints. Also the people operating the breakfast restaurant seemed less friendly than the reception staff.

Staff super helpful and nice. Room was good, bed was super nice also. We would come back.

Breakfast was OK, nothing to complaint too much, but I believe the rating for it, is too high (rather good breakfast and not superb/outstanding).

Very friendly and accommodating staff in this ancient yet well kept hotel. The location was convenient to reach the city center by car or tram, and the parking was very easy to access.

The only downside (but still with some charm) was the elevator which was small and aged…. (it was perfectly safe but felt like playing the odds each ride). Very good value for money, really worth a longer stay.

breakfast was good. Cold drinking water was a nice surprise. Location good for what I wanted, but of course Connowitz is not near the centre of Leipzig - but conveniently near the tram 11 route. supermarkets nearby.

Good location, easy to get by train/bus. Amazing breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable.

Nothing the hotel could do, but the room was very hot due to the weather. They do provide a fan.
