Well located, close to the Battle of Nations Memorial and right by an S-Bahn station from where you can get to the city center in minutes. Maybe a matter of taste, but I liked the old (but in very good condition) furniture that made the hotel quite unlike a typical chain hotel. Pretty good breakfasts, not the best hotel breakfast I've had but worth the price.

Very noisy spot, if your windows face the street you'll be hearing the trams, ambulances etc. until late night. Steep stairs to the reception and the rooms - I only later discovered that further in there is a less steep staircase that is more convenient for bringing in luggage. No place to park a car adjoint to the hotel, even for a few minutes to unload luggage it's difficult. On the other hand, you will usually find free parking space within a reasonable walking distance. Stained carpets in the hallways don't make a good first impression. A coffee machine is available to guests - but if you want hot water to make yourself a tea, or some infusion, you're out of luck - other than at breakfast time.

We enjoyed our night in the Jahrhunderthotel. It was easy to get there from the Leipzig train station and we were cordially welcomed. We received an upgrade to an "apartment", meaning a large room with a kitchen area and even a balcony. It was very nice as well as quiet, since it was at the back of the building. The breakfast was fine, and we appreciated that it was served until 11:00.

Although I appreciated the upgrade, it did mean that we were less exposed to the old-fashioned flair of the hotel, since our room was significantly more modern than the ones I had seen on the website. We would also have liked to have more fresh fruit at breakfast, especially since it is now the season for berries and other fruits. But these are only minor issues. I would certainly stay at this hotel again.

Breskfast is very excellent, there are sufficient food and drink specialities. Hotel atmosphere and room are very authentic and decorated with retro object like gramophon, type machine, shew machine and many old document. Cleaning of room and hotel are very nice and hygienic. Comfortable of room is so high like well-known hotels. Drink and junk food alternatives are so sufficient for relieving our stomach. Enterance of hotel is very easy, by using a key we can go whenever you want. Hotel manager is very excellent, kind, helpful etc, also other staff. Accommodation fee (price) and other extras are so suitable, not expensive. Hotel location is so good, there is tram, train and bus alternatives to city center. You can reach in city center easily in 15 minutes. In summary, a good, affordable price and quality parity. I highly recomment this hotel.

A different way to travel. Old building, antique furniture, small suites, cozy dining room, no elevator, narrow stairs, traditional beer bar next door, good breakfast and excellent service. Easy access and free parking if you arrive not too late at night.

This is a historic and interesting property outside the city center but with excellent tram and train service. Our room was comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding.

I liked that the style of hotel with old furniture. This does not mean that furniture is in bad shape. The personnel were very friendly.

The steps to the hotel are very steep. If there is no elevator (I don't know since I used steps) it can be problematic for older persons or people with large baggage.

The location is very good, a few metres from stops of the local transport, which is always on time. Very delicious and fresh breakfast. The staff is extremely nice and helpful.

Unfortunately, there is no lift at the hotel. Also, the weather was very hot, there is no air conditioner.

Very nice hotel at an excellent price, full of antique furniture and accessories. Excellent breakfast at a very decent price. Very nice staff! 200 m away from local trains, with direct connections to for example Leipzig's main railway station (five stops/ten minutes).

This was a comfortable and stylish hotel , mixing old world ambience with modern convenience. The staff were very helpful and we liked the reasonably priced honesty bar.

For the price in a good location, there was not much to dislike.

A very cozy hotel in a historical building with very pleasant interiors. Very friendly staff. Very nice furniture. Close to S-Bahn station. There is a large pleasant park nearby.

There is no drinking water in the hotel, not at all. For water I had to go to a restaurant on Erdgeschoss.
