It's in a really good location, right in the center of Lörrach. There is a bar underneath you, and it's still somewhat loud at 11 p.m. on a Friday. Whether that's a good or a bad thing is up to you. It's super close to Basel and is perfect if you are looking for a hotel to stay around Basel without breaking the bank. Also, for me, it's always a bonus if the hotel has a hot water boiler.

Loved the location, right in the center of the city. No need for car to go shopping or have a coffee as hotel was right in the downtown. Loved the checkin process. Keys were very easy to collect. Bathroom had very nice toiletries (Loved the smell of the shampoo) Bed and mattress were soo comfortable.

The elevator did not work, it seems like it needed a chip to go upstairs but not a big deal. It would be nice to pay a little less (just saying). Nothing else to blame.

Good location and clean. Staff at reception (she) on Saturday was super nice.

Smoke smell in the hallway and outside was loud past midnight (in defense, there was a euro cup watch party that ended late). I recommend please send instructions on where to park (with cost details) so it’s easier for international travelers to navigate.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. As a young woman traveling alone, I felt very safe. It is located in a very cute square and is well connected to the train station that leads to Basel City. The room is well equipped with high quality shampoos, soaps, etc, as well as a hair dryer and complementary coffe, tea, and water. Room number 1 has a very nice view to the square, with the morning sun hitting the room. It is spacious, with good storage space.

Reception is only open a few hours a day, which could be an inconvenience if you need a service or assistance. There is no room service or phones in the rooms.

We had a great stay. Breakfast was great and the location is too.

Noise from the coffe shops downstairs. I would not want to stay at the hotel during the summer.

Superb location, a nice room, happy to stay there. The young receptionist lady at the breakfast did an amazing job, and her smile was a highlight of the stay.

There was no one there in the afternoon, the check-in was a little bit cumbersome.

The staff were very friendly and welcomed us kindly already in the email. The breakfast was tasty, had variety and was a very value. Even though it is in the very center of Lörrach, we heard no noise whatsoever. This was our second stay and will be our go-to place when we return. A big thank you.

Check-in was a bit confusing at first but then it made sense. For being an art-themed hotel, the art leaves much to be desired but that is purely in the eye of the beholder. That said, the interior design is great. I loved the coffee table book on Mexico.

Location, size of the room, storage inside the room, large shower, good communication upon check-in and a lovely view from our room out over the Square (think it was room 11). Great value for money and close to everything you need (small town). Parking garages (several) nearby costing EUR 12 per day (Am Burghof) which we found to be quite cheap by European Standards.

We couldn't figure out some of the lights but that was nothing serious. An extra pillow would have been appreciated.
