Beautiful view, location was in a peaceful, quiet, more residential neighborhood, friendly staff, the room felt more like a master bedroom in turn of the century mansion, rather than a hotel room. The bathroom and shower were spacious with good water pressure. Towel warming radiator style heater in the bathroom.

Not the hotel’s fault: This is just info for future guests: I was a bit confused about the busses. The hotel is situated high up on a hill, which is lovely, but until I figured out how the bus system works, I walked up and down that mountain each day—45 minute walk to town. Once I figured out the bus, it is bus 8: Obertullingen up and Grabenstrasse down. Just remember that! The restaurant in the hotel is lovely, but is also a venue for events. It is also closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. I only ate in the restaurant once because of the closures and events they were hosting. Additionally, the restaurant seemed more upscale so as a solo traveler/backpacker I felt out of place in their restaurant. This made dinner difficult when it’s quite a trip back to town whether you walk or ride the bus.

Very nice hotel with very good facilities. Very good breakfast with great offerings. The staff were cordial and spoke English which was nice. There was a bar and restaurant that seemed inviting. The bar was often lively. The tram was a five minute walk away and 15 minutes into town so it was convenient. My daughter and I enjoyed staying here and I would definitely book again.

The hotel parking was a little bit expensive and it seemed like the staff wasn’t overly keen on explaining how to park otherwise. We managed to find a solution but not being from the area the parking isn’t easy to understand as it is for locals. It would maybe be good if they took more time to explain. Also food was an issue as their isn’t much in the area if you don’t want to venture into town or take the car out. There are sone good grocery stores just two minutes away on foot though for snacks and drinks!

Location was really nice with a beautiful view on the city. The neighborhood was absolutely warm with such a beautiful atmosphere. Breakfast excellent with good choice of food. Great starting point to visit Alsace.

To improve quality or choice of pillows as some people can have cervical problems; I would prefer a bit higher pillows but again , it's a marginal 'criticism'.

We stopped over at this hotel at the end of our holiday on the way home. We did not spend much time here, but the time we had here was great. The room was big and spacious, the staff was friendly and accommodating. We ate at the restaurant and the food was fantastic. The view from the hotel and restaurant is gorgeous. And the breakfast in the morning was also very good value for money. This is a hotel I would definitely recommend and if we are in the area again we will be back.

the restaurant is very nice and the view from the restaurant is amazing. The staffs are very friendly and excellent behaviour. The bed is very comfortable. I like everything about this property

Historical building with nice renovation. Amazing views from the balcony. Location is nice, 5 min drive to Lörrach center. Parking place in front of the hotel and additional area 2mins walk from hotel. For free. Comfy & very clean rooms. Late check-in & early check-out without hassle. Definetely recommended.

Nearly nothing, only thing that it could be improved is the pillow.

Nice place just outside Basel. Plenty of free parking available. The views are quite nice, especially from the breakfast area.

Use it as basecamp while moving house. EXTRA friendly staff. Clean. Nice view on Loerrach. Parking reserved for the hotel on the other side of the street (not secure but this is in a very calm area - I left my truck full of boxes and furnitures there). Good breakfast. Restaurant is really good (but not cheap).

Sofa bed could have had a thicker mattress (a bit too hard for our taste)

Great location if you are looking for something outside of big city. There are vineyards 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Breakfast is average- several types of bread, cheese, some meat, yogurt and fruits. Not a lot of options, but fresh and tasty.

Staff do not speak English at all. We had several confusing moments, but overall it didn’t influenced our stay.

Great place everything was perfect and above my expectations . I wouldn't hesitate a minute to return or recommend to my friends or family .
