The location is definitely the best if you are planning to go to Vitra campus. It's only 10 minutes walk away. There's a tram stop, train station, and a big mall literally right in front of the hotel. The building generally had a classic vibe but the shower and toilet were all new and very clean. The staffs were all friendly and helpful. After the checkout the reception helped me get a cab and it only took 10 minutes to get to the Basel airport. (Around 40 euros)

Nothing really. Oh, just be aware that there's no elevator.

Small cozy hotel. Near to active area which is not so busy but essentials such as shopping and food is easily accessible

Dinner time in the hotel booklet inside the room stated until 9.30pm but when we reached the hotel restaurant around 8.30pm they told they are closing. The staff was surprised to know that the hotel booklet stated otherwise. Bu still managed somehow. Drinks on the house though to rectify the whole situation! No telephone inside the room.

Spacious comfortable room with a balcony and great fan, which was much appreciated during the heat. Wonderful beer garden. Great food and drinks, including an extensive and hot breakfast. Great value just over the border from Switzerland.

Nothing we didn't like, especially compared to having paid so much for so little in Switzerland.

Good location on our way to Italy. Very friendly staff. Although we left very early, around 6.30 (breakfast 7 onwards) we were able to have breakfast and our (hot) water bottles filled. Parking around the corner.

A charging station for our electric car would have been a bonus ;- ). That the breakfast had to be paid separately that early morning. Fortunately the hosts were very helpful and arranged everything so we didnt lost that much time on it.

The willingness to help a foreign person to feel at home. The friendliness of all the staff. The designated people that did speak English that knew to help me. And, the orderliness. The beautiful plants, decorating and overall comfort were very special.

It took a little time to understand each other because of language barriers. We did our best and all scenes did work out as planned.

Hotel just outside Basle. Brilliant location. Restaurant was good. Well cooked veal at a reasonable price. Other local restaurants in comparison appeared poor. Staff were very friendly and we had a great room on the second floor. Access was by a good lift. Parking brilliant and included in the price. There is no air con but the fan was very powerful.

Nothing for the hotel.

It was a good location to get to by car. You can park on the terrain for free and you are very close to Vitra Campus. I assume you can easily get to the city center of Basel by public transport, but I used my car to get to locations further from the city center, like Goetheanum en Fondation Beyeler.

I had just a little bit of trouble of orienting myself when I arrived, but actually it wasn't that hard. The door was at the back. No one was there but I could call (with the phone at the door) and the second number got me in touch with the right person who helped me get inside.

Really comfortable and clean room. Great shower and the staff were friendly attending our requests. Would recommend for a one night stay while travelling by car across countries. Good price.

The town itself doesn't have much to offer and the parking was not so easy to find, but otherwise everything was fine

Well located for access to Basel. The connected restaurant served delicious food and good prices.

Walls are a bit thin, but it was mostly quiet.

The hotel is in a lovely well kept building. The room was very clean and comfortable. The restaurant and Weinwirtschaft were closed on Sunday. The owner explained that because of labour shortage he couldn't open as much as he would like. Too bad but you can have breakfast if you want. When we left it was pouring with rain and a kind lady of the hotel accompanied me to the car with an umbrella. Great service!
