Very nice stay at this hotel. The bed was comfortable, room clean and quiet. No problems with the check in, parking available and for free.

We were informed about the breakfast: until 10 am. We went down after 9 am, were sitting, eating and while we wanted to hava a coffee around 9.45 we have been informed that the breakfast is only until 9.30 and after this time the staff starts to clean up. So no coffee close to 10 am. And I am really okay with it if I would be informed that we should take whatever needed from the buffet before 9.30. A small disappointing point.

The room at Axion was comfortable and clean with no traffic noise even though the hotel is on a main road. We had dinner in the Greek restaurant at the hotel and chose the Curfu Plate for 2. The food was excellent with a wide selection of foods. The platter was LARGE and despite our best efforts between the 2 of us, we just couldn't finish it. The breakfast buffet was comprehensive, with a good range of both hot and cold foods. And it worked out well for us that the buffet was open early as we had an early train to catch.

There wasn't really anything to complain about. The location is a little out of the way, but there is a station for local trains just a step away, plus plenty of parking if you drive.

The hotel was easy to find along the road. We feared the traffic and train noise but the rooms are well insulated once the window if closed. The hotel offers ample free parking space. The room was of a decent size for the short stay and all looked in good shape and relatively new, including the bathroom. Breakfast offered an ample choice of salty and sweet products. Coffee was good as it is always a critical point of mine.

The staff a guy came out helping me park I had a extend van and he gave me his spot very thoughtful made my staff for sure They have a Greek restaurant and the food was good and portions where big worth the money ,my room was on the upper floor it was secluded and private loved it ! I would considering coming back .. but don’t know with parking I don’t want to be a burden …..

Extended van / Bus is hard to park , cars non issues

On-site parking is available, I was able to park my 5m van with ease. Rooms were clean with nice modern design. The best was the in-house Greek restaurant. Very tasty food, affordable prices, and service were great. The buffet breakfast the following morning was equally fantastic. Their orange juice machine is well chilled, the selection of hot dishes and cold cuts were great as well as cheese, breads, jams & coffee.

Our room had the tiniest fridge I've ever seen in a hotel. It's a bit strange. The room has space for a bigger to normal size mini ref. We didn't get any complimentary water bottles even if we booked 3 rooms.

Absolutely first class stay! The location is perfect. Close to both bus and train services. The rooms are perfect, the staff are helpful and friendly and the food is excellent – probably the best Greek food I have tasted outside of Greece. Very convenient for getting to Basel and we also took the opportunity to visit Freiburg which was really nice - about an hour on the train. We will definitely return to explore the area a little more. Σε ευχαριστώ για όλα!

Stopped here driving to Italy. - what an excellent find! Clean, comfortable, convenient. Excellent breakfast, and dinner al fresco in the Greek style restaurant. Brilliant staff, parking on site close to the Swiss border at Basle for a quick getaway in the morning. Comfortable room with aircon ( especially welcome as the temperature was mid 30s..) , cannot fault this hotel, "I'll be back" as someone once said!

Nothing, it was spot on

Traveled with my wife by car. Finding the hotel is very easy. Convenient access, large parking. There is an elevator, which is very convenient. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful people. The room was spacious, equipped with everything necessary. Very clean, comfortable bed, good furniture, wonderful bathroom. Bed linen and towels are new and clean. Good Wi-Fi. Great varied breakfast for every taste!

The hotel is right off the highway so great for a driving pit stop or for visiting Basel. Quiet considering proximity to a train station. Bus stop nearby. Free parking lot, same parking of the Greek Restaurant. Highlights were the comfortable bed, air conditioning and a good wifi connection. Good value value for money, especially considering the prices in downtown Basel.

The staff were lovely, we arrived on a Friday evening and the restaurant was full but they managed to squeeze us in. The room was comfortable and the location was great it was right by a train stop and a bus stop. However its important to check the schedules before as they don't run very frequently.

Nothing, it was a comfortable place, good location with lovely staff. The only thing is it would be nice to have a kettle and coffee in the room.
