Accommodation on the 13th floor is great. Breakfast very very varied and good! The room was of adequate size. We were also lucky to have a view from the room. The weather cooperated with us, so we enjoyed the long weekend in Basel very much.

I often stay at this hotel and organise events here. It's a very comfortable and quiet retreat from the city, although not during Herbstmesse or the Christmas Markets season!! I was fine this time though, just a week before the former of these festivities, where some of the merriment takes place in and around Messeplatz. The location is a little away from the old town of Basel although right next to the Messe... the public transport and free use of that through the Basel card means that this hardly matters though! Staff are always great, and the breakfasts are good and served in a really spectacular space.

Rooms are a bit small, and it's pricey... but then it IS Switzerland!

Hotel is well located, comfortable room and excellent breakfast.

I am writing to formally report the loss of my microphone, a Hollyland Lark brand, which I believe was left inside my hotel room (522) during my recent stay at your establishment from 16-21 of June. I did contact the front desk informing it. Despite my efforts to locate the microphone, I have been unable to find it. I kindly request your assistance in this matter and would appreciate any information regarding its recovery. My 2nd time there; very happy again. The room featured a mini fridge with complimentary refreshments, tea and coffee making facilities, and a practical and spacious walk-in shower. The hotel is ideally located next to the Basel exhibition centre, with numerous options for shopping, dining, and drinks within walking distance. Tram lines stop right in front of the hotel, and with the complimentary BaselCard provided at check-in, guests are entitled to unlimited free use of public transportation throughout the city.

The room was equipped solely with blackout curtains, which effectively block all incoming light. However, it lacked standard sheer curtains that would allow natural daylight to enter while still maintaining privacy. Such curtains are particularly useful during daytime hours, as they soften the light and prevent visibility into the room from outside. Parking spaces in the hotel's private lot are very limited. A practical alternative is to drive around the park and use the public multi-storey car park located directly opposite the hotel, which charges CHF 40 per day.

Everything is wonderful and many thanks for all stuff. Bathroom and bed are perfect. I like curtains it is almost blackout design. Coffee and minibar is a good compliment from the hotel.

I dont like the pillows. They are very soft and unsupportive. Some people may like it but I like a little bir supportive. The second thing is I have upgraded my room to king size, the bed size may be king but bedroom is too small for king size bed. And bedside drawers do not suit to room furniture, since everything is designed very well. And I dont understand the adjustment of the air conditioner.

If you like to be comfortably surrounded by the excellent premium class brands such as hansgrohe shower systems, geberit toilets, simplehuman mirrors, peters design lamps, kahla coffee mugs, dometic and saeco kitchen appliances as well as with toiletries from keuco, wedi and kräemer - then at hyperion you will be spoiled by these meaningful interior design elements in your hotel room. The architecture is here in its perfection.

The windows may need to be cleaned more often. But if this can be seen as a problem then there is actually no problem.

- Impressive building externally - Foyer area modern and spacious - Friendly staff on the front desk, with good English skills - Room itself was clean and had a fantastic view over Basel (south facing) - Hotel seemed quiet and peaceful, no noise issues - I didn't use the restaurant, but the food looked good and it appeared to be busy - Tram stop outside, with multiple lines in operation - Shops e.g. supermarkets within a short walk - Area generally safe, even later at night

- Room was on the smaller side, but this is common in continental Europe - Corridors could do with being slightly modernised, but were clean and well maintained - Around a 15 minute walk/ 7 minute tram ride from Basel old town, may be too far for some people - Coffee machine in the room was quite difficult to operate, instructions in English would have been nice

Perfect location in Basel.

Receptionist upon checkout was rude. I spoke in English with her, because I was with my American friend. She obviously saw that I was German, and snapped at me, that I should speak German with her! That’s so rude! My everyday language is English and she can’t demand what language I speak! Plus, when asking for my bag in the luggage room, because I was running late for my train, she was annoyed. Not a good behavior. Also, we chose the hotel for the beautiful view, and then found a huge television set in front of the window! What kind of interior design is that? We came there for the views, not for watching tv!!! It should at least be movable!!!

Very polite staff. The view from the room over Basel is stunning. The view and sunset from the roof top bar is even more breath taking (you have to pay extra for access). The location is very close to the city center. It is a nice opportunity for a walk or using the included free public transport pass. The breakfast buffet is excellent and elaborate. There is an excellent parking in the basement.

Initially I was supplied an uncleaned room on arrival, which was quickly corrected by the staff by changing rooms. 25 euro for 4 glasses of tea and 5 euro for a small bottle of fanta is expensive, even for Suisse living standards.

Great location, just 15 minutes from the center, with bus and tram stops very close by. The hotel is modern and spacious, offering excellent service and a restaurant with tasty food. We had a large room with a big bathroom, fresh new towels, and a free minibar stocked with Pepsi, water, beer, juice, and even a pack of peanuts, which were replenished daily at no extra charge.

However, there was some confusion regarding the rooftop bar on the 30th floor. While it’s advertised as part of the hotel, it’s only accessible to special members, not hotel guests, which seemed a bit unclear.
