Accommodation on the 13th floor is great. Breakfast very very varied and good! The room was of adequate size. We were also lucky to have a view from the room. The weather cooperated with us, so we enjoyed the long weekend in Basel very much.

- Impressive building externally - Foyer area modern and spacious - Friendly staff on the front desk, with good English skills - Room itself was clean and had a fantastic view over Basel (south facing) - Hotel seemed quiet and peaceful, no noise issues - I didn't use the restaurant, but the food looked good and it appeared to be busy - Tram stop outside, with multiple lines in operation - Shops e.g. supermarkets within a short walk - Area generally safe, even later at night

- Room was on the smaller side, but this is common in continental Europe - Corridors could do with being slightly modernised, but were clean and well maintained - Around a 15 minute walk/ 7 minute tram ride from Basel old town, may be too far for some people - Coffee machine in the room was quite difficult to operate, instructions in English would have been nice

Perfect location in Basel.

Receptionist upon checkout was rude. I spoke in English with her, because I was with my American friend. She obviously saw that I was German, and snapped at me, that I should speak German with her! That’s so rude! My everyday language is English and she can’t demand what language I speak! Plus, when asking for my bag in the luggage room, because I was running late for my train, she was annoyed. Not a good behavior. Also, we chose the hotel for the beautiful view, and then found a huge television set in front of the window! What kind of interior design is that? We came there for the views, not for watching tv!!! It should at least be movable!!!

Tram station is quite close and the room fee includes the free public transport daily ticket. Room was nice and clean. Coffee, snacks, water included in the price. Lobby is very pleasant.

The room is very small and the view not the best from all sides of the hotel. However I asked a room with nice view, it was not nice.

Very polite staff. The view from the room over Basel is stunning. The view and sunset from the roof top bar is even more breath taking (you have to pay extra for access). The location is very close to the city center. It is a nice opportunity for a walk or using the included free public transport pass. The breakfast buffet is excellent and elaborate. There is an excellent parking in the basement.

Initially I was supplied an uncleaned room on arrival, which was quickly corrected by the staff by changing rooms. 25 euro for 4 glasses of tea and 5 euro for a small bottle of fanta is expensive, even for Suisse living standards.

Great location, just 15 minutes from the center, with bus and tram stops very close by. The hotel is modern and spacious, offering excellent service and a restaurant with tasty food. We had a large room with a big bathroom, fresh new towels, and a free minibar stocked with Pepsi, water, beer, juice, and even a pack of peanuts, which were replenished daily at no extra charge.

However, there was some confusion regarding the rooftop bar on the 30th floor. While it’s advertised as part of the hotel, it’s only accessible to special members, not hotel guests, which seemed a bit unclear.

I loved the fruit flavored water available all the time. We were quickly helped when checking in. The female bartender at this location was so very friendly and helpful and kind. Loved the lounge area by the bar for our group to play cards.

No free coffee!!

The view was fabulous, the room was comfortable, and the staff was so helpful. I thought breakfast was a bit costly so we went to a bakery. I would stay at this hotel anytime. Sitting in bed and looking out the window at the beautiful view was amazing. We only stayed two nights but we both agree we would stay longer. Around the corner but in the Hyperion Bld. there is a wonderful bar...maybe called the Top f Basel or Bar Rouge. It was so nice and fit completely with the Hyperion experience.

The breakfast was too expensive so we skipped it. But there are many nice places to get coffee, a pastry or a sandwich. This place was wonderful.

Modern and clean . Easy to reach from the airport. Rooms are clean and the use of the bar in the was good. One of the receptionists was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Her name is Maria Martin,the room cleaners were good.

The rooms are a bit small especially for two people with luggage. Two of the staff members in the lobby bar were very unfriendly and did not look very happy.

The room was very comfortable, clean and light Shower was great. Service from the staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful Location was fab with a short walk to the tram service The use of a free pass to use of the tram service is a great touch

The hotel was lovely but the cost of the breakfast was extortionate I wasn't sure why I hadn't included breakfast when I booked but when we were told 39 Swiss Francs per person for a help yourself buffet breakfast - that was a bit extreme We passed and found other places for breakfast each morning which were that price for both of us
