Location very central, staff particularly attentive, and room very comfortable.,mini bar ( but no UHT milk)

Internet was very poor.in my room. It dropped in and out every 10 seconds. I Had to sit in the foyer to do emails.Also given Basel and s a major Swiss city the TV did not offer any English-speaking channels. Because the internet was non existent I as unable to download any programs on my iPad.

The hotel is located walking distance to old town, which is perfect 😍 Room was clean and cosy. Perfect for a city break weekend. What we loved most was super nice staff. Everyone was really helpful and welcoming. We’ve been given lots of local restaurants recommendations and a talk about local history and upcoming festival. We loved a stay in the Hotel du Commerce. Thank you for your hospitality 😍

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly and we very much appreciated the early check-in. Hotel is very clean and tidy. Rooms are well appointed (fridge, aircon, safe) and wi-fi worked well.

Air conditioning seemed to have a mind of its own. It didn’t seem possible to adjust it from the control panel and it made some disruptive noises during the night.

Location: close to train station, very close to Messeplatze, Communication: responsive to my inquiry, share Basel card before we arrive. I also received very clear instruction about how to arrive at hotel via public transportation. Service: we received very good service. Kitchen stuff helped us to heat our own food with oven; we can leave our luggage at reception after check out; room service found thing we forgot in room and put it on my luggage

Location was an absolute winner - directly across the street from the Messe where we were working.

A bit old style, reception was very courteous but they obviously have very old systems so it was slow checking in, and the old cards immediately gave the feeling that this is a budget hotel - however all else was very functional and worked perfectly.

Location excellent On the tram line to both the German and Swiss train stations, the airport is only a tram and bus drive away from the hotel

We had a little hiccup with the taxi booked by the hotel for the airport run on our way home. Didn't show up and we had to do a mad dash for the tram and bus to get our flight at the airport. The manager did his best but still no taxi after booking it the night before and we even double checked the booking that evening before our trip. These things happen

Exceptionally clean. My room was large and had a fridge, kettle and coffee maker. It also had a nice courtyard outside. One of the best features of the hotel are their staff. Particularly Vivian and Janeen who looked after us brilliantly.

The staff at the reception were very helpful. I arrived around 7.00 am in the morning and my room was ready to check-in already. The convention center is literally across the street. Bathroom is updated. I needed an adaptor for plugs, and it was provided free of charge. It was a pleasant stay and value for money for Basel area is really good.

I think rooms can also use some updating. Coffee and tea facilities in the room need upgrading as well both the appliances and the consumables. These would really help I think.

Excellent location for Women's Euros. Clean, spacious room, breakfast was good and convenient. Lovey local PUB nearby, easy to reach on tram from SSB.

No air-conditioning, room was hot. A fan was provided, and window shutters used.

The hotel was in a great location--directly across from the convention center, and within a few minutes walking distance from the bus and train stops. The staff was very friendly and got us checked in quickly.

I was unaware that we had to pay for overnight parking. I thought it was included in our room rental price.
