Nice little hotel in a suburb of Wurzburg. Needs a drive to get into Wurzburg, but the hotel is just a walk across the river (on a newly opened pedestrian bridge) to Vietshockheim, a very nice little village with several restaurants & shops/galleries. The room was very nice indeed and the breakfast was exquisite. Parking was free and there were several really nice restaurants within easy walking distance.

Really, nothing, It was an excellent hotel. I will note that accessibility for mobility challenged people will be an issue as everything was stairs, stairs, stairs. There was a lift in the lobby, but to get to it would be a serious effort for anyone not abled. Schlepping our bags to the lobby was a bit of a mission in itself.

Reception staff was very pleasant although we had a slight communication problem . All staff members were very friendly and accommodating . Really excellent price point for this very good lodging. A bit off the beaten track but worth the extra ride . If on bikes there are no dinner places close thus need to ride your biketo any restaurant . Very good bike storage. Room spacious , clean and bright . Fan in room if needed . Breakfast was good with hot and cold food choices .

Bathroom light on motion detector with no way to disconnect so at night the light went on every time the bathroom was utilized - a bit unpleasant at night .

We had an exceptional experience at Main Hotel Eckert 3-Sterne Superior during our recent stay. Arriving late at night, we were pleasantly surprised by the seamless check-in process. The key was securely locked at the entrance, with clear instructions and the required code sent via the app, making our arrival hassle-free. The room was impeccably clean and very spacious, easily accommodating the extra crib we had requested for our 2-year-old. Breakfast was another highlight of our stay. The variety and quality of the food were excellent.

Very hard to find a negative for a such a short stay.

We had a wonderful stay here during our vacation. The room was clean, and cozy, and hosts were incredibly warm and helpful throughout our stay. We accidentally left behind a jellycat plush toy that means a lot to us. Hosts not only found it, but thoughtfully sent it to our next hotel in the cutest little box. We loved the box so much, we kept it as a keepsake! Thank you for the kind and thoughtful service. Highly recommended!

Room size compared to others we have stayed in was a nice surprise. Breakfast staff very friendly but restaurant closed during our stay.

A small thing, but the bathroom light is triggered to turn on upon entry so in the middle of the night it is blinding. I would have liked a way to turn option off. No hotel mini fridge is turned on and generally dont cool enough to keep own items. Hotel is located in an outer residential area (12 kms from Wurzburg by car) so not convenient if no transport.

Delicious breakfast, just like we had at home! The dining room ambiance was perfect as well. The personnel were lovely. Our room was quite clean and nicely equipped. I highly recommend this lovely hotel.

The entrance of the building was too steep, there were too many stairs. It was hard to carry heavy luggages.

Very helpful stuff, the receptionist walked down the stairs and picked my luggage even without me telling him something about it :D Never happened to me before.

Spacious, well decorated rooms with large bathrooms. The price is reasonable relative to quality of modern hotel. The breakfast was good at reasonable cost.

The disadvantage is 20 minutes from downtown.

Excelent breakfest. Leady doing home made cakes every morning. Good heating. Personalized service. They listen to the customer.

The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. Also the other staff at breakfast were extremely forthcoming and helpful. All personnel clearly takes pride in providing an excellent service. The room was large as was the bed (which was a bit hard for my back). The bathroom was also very spacious and super clean, a pleasure to use. The location is excellent for biking (there were loads of cycling tourists on the streets).

The breakfast was rather average. It would have been nice to be able to cut bread slices, however, there were only small (heavy) one portion bread rolls. The location is not that great but you can reach Veitzhochheim by walking, so no problem there.
