The hotel is in a splendid location right on the river frontage. It is quiet and is in very easy reach of the town centre and eating places. The hotel is very clean and tidy. Breakfast has a wide range of foods, many of them home-made.

In an ideal world I would have preferred a room with a river view. But I did not request this. My allocated room was newly decorated and with modern furnishings though the bathroom was a little dated.

I have stayed at the Mainblick once before, but this was my first time staying with my familly. The whole stay was excellent, even with 2 children under 5, they set up cot beds for us before arrival and communicated by email beforehand, checking if we needed the key left in the safe outside etc as we were arriving late. The room was provided with a fan to keep us cool in the summer heat, and breakfast had a great selection, keeping two fussy children happy.

The directions to the room we had were a little unclear, we went up to the second floor but realised eventually our room was in a different part of the hotel building and on the ground floor. Fine once we found it, but the signs dotted around the corridors were a little confusing.

Family hotel with a small number of rooms. It faces the Main River, you get a nice view from your room. It is close to the free car parking next the river. The rooms are good space, clean. Breakfast very good, not spectacular, but very good choice and quality. Late arrival is no problem. You get your keys from KeyBoy at the entrance...

I liked the hotel. Having said that, be aware that there is no elevator in the hotel and you will need to use staircase to get to your room. Also, some may find the beds hard.

Very cozy family hotel, beautiful location on the riverbank. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms well insulated. It was so quiet, we could have thought we were the only ones in the building. The breakfast was good and the real plus was the genuinely friendly, hospitable staff. The hotel is 30m away from a free public parking.

Stayed for a night at the hotel for one of my business trips and had a wonderful experience during my time. I was able to easily reach the hotel from the Marktheidenfeld bus centre via foot in about a few minutes. The MVP of the hotel is it's location, directly located on the shore of the Main river. The hospitality was excellent from the friendly staff, clean and quiet rooms with a good selection for breakfast. Overall a very good experience and definitely would suggest for overnight/business stays!

Excellent location close to Marktheidenfeld old town with a view out onto the Main River. European style buffet breakfast with custom-cooked eggs was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The building is beautiful and decorated with colorful flowers out front on a lovely cobblestone street facing the river...looks like a picture postcard. It was close to shopping, restaurants and biking/walking trail along the river. Free public parking lot just a short walk up the block (it could get crowded on some days, but luckily we were always able to find a spot). The room was cleaned thoroughly ever day. The price was great for the quality of the facility, breakfast and service.

The WiFi could have been better. It occasionally got slow or cut out briefly. It seemed better if I went down to the public area on the first floor. There was no air conditioning, which isn't unusual in Europe, and which normally wouldn't have been an issue, but there happened to be a heat wave the days we were there and the temps were 20° F (11° C) above normal . We kept the shades closed during the day and the windows open at night and it was still a little warm in the room, but it wasn't unbearable.

This is a very pleasant little hotel very close to the River Main and with a wonderful view over the river. The room was ideal for me and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was also very good.

Very nice location, very friendly staff. The room was very cosy, all clean. It feels like it's all done with love and interest. Very comfortable room. There are plants on the stairs, lots of gentle decoration. One of the best places we ever stayed in. Very good breakfast, a big selection. There was even a fruit salad, which I find great in the morning.

The pillows are too soft for my liking but I slept very well in the comfortable bed.

Wonderful location on the Main River in a quaint neighborhood. Excellent breakfast and accommodating host.

Would prefer laminate flooring to carpet.
