Excellent location in central Meiningen, just a minute or two's walk from the main square in one direction and the Schloss and Theatre Museum in the other direction. Fairly comfortable room with a useful desk. Attached to an Italian restaurant downstairs which stayed open late - a good option after the opera.

Room was rather chilly in this late winter season. Breakfast was slightly limited. Reception kept limited hours, which could have caused problems since I was travelling without a working mobile phone (my problem, not the hotel's,of course!).

Lovely rooms, comfortable beds, great shower, very helpful receptionist, Italian restaurant with fab food downstairs, central location

Continental breakfast which was fine but service at breakfast non existent.

The pension is on a restaurant and it stays open until late. It's very good if you are just coming over for business.

Bed was too small and soft, pillow was not good as well unfortunately.

The room was very hot with no ventilater and noisy. The breakfast (tomato, cuccumber and white cheese was not covered. There were many flies in the restsurant and on the tabel wich was annoying and unpleasant. The waiter in the breakfast was upset and not so welcomming.

No contact whatsoever. Requested an early check-in but nowhere on the booking page does it say that there is literally no one in the building until 3pm. No one answers either phone numbers. Also there are exposed screws on a broken fitting in the bathroom.
