It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We received a very friendly and hospitable greeting that made us feel welcome. The place itself is so tranquil and beautifully maintained and decorated. The inner yard is full of flowers and reminded us of Mediterranean traditional village houses. Our room was comfortable and clean, with attention to detail. There is also a private back yard where we enjoyed several quiet moments during our stay. The breakfast was well prepared and offered in a nice room. The guesthouse is located in walking distance of several shopping and dining options. Parking was offered free of charge. We would be very happy to recommend it and we will definitely choose it for our future visits in the area.

Great host, and we felt very welcome when we arrived with our six motorbikes. The rooms were great, and there was a really nice, cosy garden. Beers from the local brewery VULKAN were available with the (secret) key. We had a great stay and really recommend this place. Patrick and the McMotoBoys

Small friendly and warm family hotel, original decoration, the guests are art lovers and this can be felt in the establishment and the rooms. The room is spacious and quiet. A chair to work on the desk would be nice. Simple but adequate breakfast. Wi-Fi a little slow. pleasant stay.

The breakfast buffet was not only delicious but extensive and served beautifully! We enjoyed it each morning. The wide selection was wonderful and the seating area cozy and well appointed. It was also quite child friendly! We appreciated the cheerful friendliness of the owners as well as getting to know some other guests. Definitely worth the price.

Mendig is a bit far from the various interesting sights of the region - we had hoped it would have been closer since one has to drive a ways to get anywhere. Although showing much skill and talent, the modern glass art decorations in the room could be a bit frightening or upsetting to a small child and might need explanation.

On arrival we were greeted by the host, and shown around the rooms. He directed us to places where we could eat in the town . Spoke very good English. Nothing was too much trouble.. Breakfast was very good and plentiful.
